I had to share this picture of my sweet Angel baby at Elise & Levi’s wedding, absolutely living her best life on the dance floor with their son Sage!
Elise and I met through church, and have stayed in touch over the years. We ended up being neighbors! She has always been super welcoming, and her son Sage certainly excited Blair with his “all boy, all the time” personality! All of the kiddos had the best time. It was just really cool to see Blair in her element, because weddings bring her joy just like they do for mama | 🤍

Sloane and Stephen had guest fill out cards at their sign in table, for date night ideas or good advice for their marriage.
I waited to fill mine out, until I had a GOOD one, and when I saw them dancing it hit me!
On my advice card, I wrote that they should always dance the way they did on their wedding night. You could see the love they have for each other all over their face, and it was just the sweetest thing to witness | 🤍

This could potentially be my favorite picture of all time, from my lovely bride Sloane’s wedding day.
As a kid growing up, I would go to my grandmothers house in Monroeville. She had each room decorated by color; pink, yellow, and green. (and I am talking the entire room was based off of one color, the purple bathroom had a purple bathtub). The green room was INFESTED by lady bugs. My grandmother never did anything about them, because she said they brought good luck and true love. Call me a sucker for an old wives tale, but I am!! So incredibly fitting for this couple. To no surprise a little lady bug on Sloane’s dress has a deeper meaning - if you only saw the way this couple was in person you would understand just what I mean 🤍

I was talking with a bride yesterday about the difference a great photographer can make!
It’s important for brides to pin point what style of editing stands out to them. Look through the photographers portfolio, and make sure the overall look is what you’re wanting! There is a huge difference between a “light & airy photo” VS a “golden hour” photo. You should not ask a photographer to edit something differently! There are a variety of super talented creators out there. Picking the right photographer to go with your vibe makes all of the difference 🍂

🎶You should let us love you, let us be the one to give you everything you want & need 🎶
When talking to potential brides, I found it is nearly impossible to explain everything that we do to make a difference on your wedding day. So here is a list with silly titles, that have not been revised in the 5 years I have had my hands on weddings, because they just really hit the nail on the head.
I really saw the need for a “Day Of” coordinator way back when I first got married years ago. I was a planner, and I did not want to ask for help. (I was very late to my ceremony, and nearly passed out in the June heat setting up the alter) I see a lot of brides with this same mentality! I love it when brides have this wonderful vision of what they want their wedding day to be like. Some of them have even been planning this wedding before they met their fiancé! They are the type to get together all of their vendors, know exactly how they want the reception to look, down to what song the DJ will be playing at each of the traditional wedding festivities, like the cake cutting.
Here is what I did not know, way back when. I had no idea that a wedding is really a day of production. It is THE game day. All of that time spent writing the script, it is time to shoot the movie!
BRIDES you can do anything, but you can’t do everything. You need a team of professionals to work behind the scenes, so you can just ~enjoy yourself~
