For those who follow us know we compete in a friendly cook off at Ollie’s Burgers & BBQ on Mondays. This Monday we brought home the trophy. The theme was anything prepared with hamburger. So of course we had to fix our smoked Jack Daniels meatloaf wrapped in bacon. The sauce is our own made Jack Daniels sauce. There were some unique plates from burgers with bacon jam, burgers with pork burnt ends and a Big Mac pizza. All I can say is I wouldn’t want to be a judge. Everyone’s plate had unique combinations of flavor. Thanks again to Kyle of Ollie’s Burgers & BBQ

First of all I’d like to thank Kyle Stapleton of Ollie’s Burgers & BBQ for the invites to compete in a weekly friendly competition with himself, his cooks and Willchef Robinson. The first time competing Willchef and I teamed up and won the trophy for our plate which included smoked mac n cheese, cole slaw and pulled pork slider with our very own apple butter bbq sauce. On the side we had a pig shot basted with Kickin’ Ash BBQ’s new peach whiskey bbq sauce. Willchef Robinson added a perch po’boy sandwich and crab stuffed mushrooms. The second time competing was breakfast food. Kickin’ Ash made smoked scotch eggs wrapped in bacon with a maple bourbon syrup and smoked monkey bread with maple carmel bourbon glaze. Today was chicken day. We made a Hawaiian shish kabob with our own new pineapple rum sauce on a bed of coconut cilantro rice along with homemade chicken and noodles on top of mashed potatoes. The competition has been tough with a wide variety of flavors. It’s been a great experience and fun time for all.

🔥The smokers have been working in overdrive for this holiday. Lots of Christmas dinners to cook! 🎅🏻Garlic herb butter prime rib, hams, our award winning pulled pork and many sides of smoked Mac and cheese, and baked beans.🔥 We were so busy cooking so many Thanksgiving dinners, we forgot to post all the beautiful turkeys and hams.
