I attended a local festival today where the face painters were using craft paint! Acrylic paint is not safe for skin!! It is full of non-FDA approved pigments and toxic ingredients not intended for the skin, sometimes even lead and formaldehyde! These paints can cause allergic reactions, irritation, and even scarring. This also means these face painters are not insured, as body art insurance companies will not cover painters not using proper supplies.
Friends, even if you don't hire me, PLEASE make sure your face painter only uses professional face paint intended for the skin and cosmetic grade glitter. Don't be afraid to ask for the ingredient list, a professional face painter will be able to provide them easily. And, of course, they will also be able to provide proof of insurance!
And, of course, Flamazing Face Paint 🦩is fully insured and only uses the highest quality professional face paint and cosmetic grade glitter! Feel free to ask me for the ingredient list or proof of insurance any time!

PS - adding lotion to acrylic paint still does not make it safe for skin!
