A summary of how my Lent went.

I wasn’t able to do a 100% of all the things I set out to do, but God still showed up in my messy, broken & imperfect everyday.

Perhaps that’s how it should be every single day, letting Him meet us where we’re at, no matter how ugly or beautiful.

This illustration has been a constant reminder for me to remember that God is my safe space, overflowing with love and mercy.

We are on DAY 30 of the Bible in a Year with & !

Oh what a journey it has been 🤩 I have been incredibly blessed by this and I want to share this truth with you!! It’s one of the things that struck me hard in these 30 days.

Sooo...we have just completed the books of Genesis and Job. Part of journeying with Job is to learn that the answer to our pain and suffering is God himself. Like ahhhh HOW MANY TIMES do we get told this?!! Not often I reckon. I personally find that the answers I’m looking for and used to (and have been given too) is heavy on logic and reason, however....God goes waaaayy BEYOND that!! He works in HIS WAY. HIS TIME. HIS THOUGHTS. HIS STRENGTH. HIS POWER. And THANK GOD for that 🙌🏼

Today I pray that we will make space for God’s hand to move in our lives and that we will not restrict God in our little boxes. To come to know Him and trust Him day by day. 💕

One of the things that get me going is to be given the opportunity to be part of an act of love.

Just like how this client put in much thought for the colors, words and layout of this piece so that it’s exactly how his girlfriend will like it! There’s so much love in the air that’s comforting to see...especially during these difficult times.

I’m also remembering all those that do not feel loved, appreciated, seen or treasured.

I hope you are well.
I hope you cling on to hope.
I hope you know that you are loved.
I hope you remember you are not alone.
I hope you believe that Jesus loves you.

I am thinking of you.
And I am praying for you today. ♥️
