Originally from England, my love for Spain stated at age eight and particulary when I studied at a university in the North of Spain. My family have lived near Alicante for over 20 years and this stunning part of Spain is just perfect for weddings.

⭐️ Venue Profile ⭐️ This afternoon I met the fabulous R&M from Australia to preview the ceremony space at the fabulous venue for their forthcoming September wedding.

Wow! What a stunner it was. An imposing traditional finca squiggled amongst tall trees, courtyards and hidden oasis.

The opportunity to meet couples ahead of the wedding is priceless. It just gives me such insight into their style and approach and allows me to truly tailor their ceremony to them. It’s a chance for them to reassure themselves that they’re in safe hands and “weve got this “. As a celebrant in Spain meeting beforehand is not always possible as many couples are travelling great distances, but when it happens it’s magic.

So excited to be officiating again at a event. Two outstandingly awesome wedding planners who always create magical weddings.

⭐️That’s the 2024 wedding season⭐️ Time to reflect, rest enjoy the festive season and then return in March.

It’s been such a fabulous year, I’ve met some incredible people worked with some lovely couples in some magical places. It’s been joyous to play a small part in the special special days of couples from all over the world. Thank you to you all 🙏

Also to the incredible wedding planners, venues, florists, photographers, musicians and more … I’ve been in awe of the skills a professionalism of the artists that work here in the Costa Blanca creating magic for those who choose to have their wedding here. It really is an incredible location with so many diverse options allowing the choice of size, vibe and style of every type of wedding day experience.

⭐ Barry & Bernie - 27.9.24 - Altea

We worked very closely with Hazel on our wedding, from the second we met her, she was so lovely, open, friendly, we warmed to her straight away. She made us feel at ease and took all our stress away and into her hands. We only had to advise her once of our requests and she got them straight away, we just gelled.
On our wedding day, Hazel was so very attentive to detail, from ensuring that the musicians aligned with the ceremony to speaking to our guests, she even offered to be our MC throughout the dinner. The ceremony far exceeded our expectations and Hazel did that for us. She was calm, professional, caring, empathetic and we loved her and so did all our guests. Our guests commented afterwards that it was the best ceremony they were ever at and considering we got married in later life, that’s a huge compliment. Hazel has an extraordinary way with people and a fantastic sense of humour, she made us laugh so much. It was a truly perfect day. All I can say is if you need a Celebrant in Costa Blanca, we would recommend Hazel a 100% and more. Thank you so much Hazel, Bernie & Barry

⭐️A GLORIOUS afternoon in Altea⭐️

Yesterday B&B made promises and commitments to each other, to share their lives together in front of all their family and friends in the wonderful

It was joyous with laughter and happy tears as these two people were surrounded by all those that care for them so deeply.

Even Ruby their beloved dog that joined in the ceremony several times to in fact !

I wish you both every happiness and many more adventures in your lives together 💕

I was honoured to be invited to stay for the wedding breakfast and the food was exquisite.

This fabulous couple chose one of the coolest rooftops in the Costa Blanca for their relaxed wedding centred around family. With magnificent views from every angle overlooking the bay and port in the gorgeous town of Javea. Grasses and the leaves of banana plants gently swaying in the August breeze, rustic beach styling with hints of rattan with pops of vibrant pink from the bourgainvillea. The Groom and his “guys” stylish in sandy tones. The Bride stunning in the most elegant of dresses perfect for the beach side setting. The warmth of friends and family elated to gather in this stunning place for this most special of celebrations. The couples wonderful son stealing the show with the super safe delivery of the precious rings for Mum & Dad. A sand ceremony with sand from special locations to create a family memento of this beautiful day ! ⭐️ SUNDAYS ⭐️ Sunday mornings are made for family walks hot chocolate and churros. We’ve always liked to get out for a stroll on a Sunday. Choosing a place and enjoying the fresh air with the dog. Today we took in the Sunday market in El Campello followed by glorously indulgent hot sugary churros dipped in thick hot chocolate - delicious ! It is a fabulous lot bright sunny day today and the streets abd promenade were busy with people enjoying the sun. ⭐️ ✨HAPPY ANNIVERSARY✨⭐️ So yesterday was our wedding anniversary… 9 Years ! I’m married to a laid back legend who lets me follow my dreams … 💕 I’m a lucky lady 🍀 … Looking back I’ll always remember such a fun day and so many laughs !! Which was always the plan. For us with an 18mth old gorgeous toddling Matilda and me constantly flying the world with my job… we wanted a completely relaxed festival party atmosphere. We planned to party …. And that we did !! Highlights 🚌 The vintage Midland Red Double Decker bus ride for everyone to the ceremony there and back 🎼 Bittersweet symphony as we walked in together played by the string quartet 🏡 Having a marquee in our back garden 🎤 The singing waiters from London’s West End - incredible and such a shock to everyone when the guys serving fizz suddenly burst in to “Jonny used to work on the docks “ Living on a prayer Bon Jovi 📸 The Photo Booth - priceless pics 🤦🏽‍♀️ Uncle Rob falling off the bench asleep and staying asleep - Dad for his only fools and horses wine bar moment and for not having a whistle !
