Q,) Tell me a little about yourself.
A) Lisa and I are lifelong Atco residents (until recently). We were married in 1995. We have (2) adult children - Alex (30) and Alyssa (24).
Q) Tell me a little about Aquascapes.
A) We started a lawn and landscaping business in 1993 together. Built our first pond in 2004, but it wasn’t until 2014, when we became Landvista Aquascapes, that we went fully water feature oriented. We have a retail location as of 2018, and also offer installation and maintenance services. We like to tell everyone that we are here for you as much or as little as you need us.
Q) who's your typical client and what are price ranges
A) We have a retail location where you can get everything you need to build your own, or maintain an existing pond. We also install water features anywhere from $5,000 to well over $100,000. We maintain a number of ponds that we did NOT install. We do cleanings, renovations and repairs.
Everyone wants a water feature, they just don’t know it yet.
*4) what about maintaining and aftercare ?
Our features are relatively low maintenance. We do offer water feature maintenance as well as installation. We tell our clients that our service gets their feature “party ready”. Our main focus is to educate people on our philosophy of working with Mother Nature and not against her. Our ponds are balanced ecosystems, water gardens, and wildlife habitats.
*5) what sets you apart from other similar companies
We are Certified Aquascape Contractors and Retailers. As such, we are held to a higher standard because of that association. We attend industry training events several times throughout each year, continually improving and educating ourselves and our teammates.
*6) anything else you'd like to say to our v
