I could keep posting that we are behind on social media, but I decided, nah. Instead, we had a great summer. It was full, it was chaotic, is was fun, it was challenging, it was all the things, but, for the most part I can say I was present.

So here’s to the start of the school year and my sweet kindergartner who ran across to our elderly neighbor, Edy’s, which is something the kids love to do. They always seem to come back with some little thing; a gingersnap, a hand full of rosemary, a feather and just as often they bring her flowers or whatever special thing they have found.

This is exactly how I also imagined growing flowers and kiddos would be.

Another factor in the lack of timely posting - our newest team member has required a lot of onboarding and training. He narrowly managed to pass his 30 day review, but we will have some real feedback at his 90 day. Yes, my day job is in Human Resources.

A long weekend camping trip with friends and family, was exactly what the doctor ordered.

This is such a busy season for flowers, but more importantly to us, it’s a fleeting time when our kids are young and excited to get away with us. We are lucky we get to do something we love, but also aware that balance is a must. ✨

Had such an incredible time working alongside to create this GORGEOUS wedding vibe, rich with colorful flowers, flowing drapes, detailed tablescapes, and Oregon weather. We had it all, sun, rain, wind, but most of all we had fun, making this brides vision come true. What a honor!

The gardens are full of life and nature doing what nature does. These beautiful nights outside with my family, kids shouting their discoveries, digging holes deep enough they can fit in, wandering and walking about seeing the small details and bits of life are what I love most about the gardens are planting together.

The kids and I (Emily) were able to sneak away to Austin for a family wedding and a bit of adventure.

Our kids are young, my family is spread across the map, most across the country from us, so these undertakings are no small feat, but spending time with the ones we love feels worth every effort.

Sara kept the wheels on while we were away. Our tireless friends and keep us afloat.

My heart is full, we are exhausted, but reliving every memory made.

Now back to our regularly scheduled activities! 🥱❤️

We love being part of all the happy celebrations, but also recognize the honor and privilege of contributing in some small way, when family and friends say farewell.

We have been going non-stop! Swim, soccer, school events, birthdays, work, and flowers, lots and lots of gorgeous flowers going to your homes, loved ones and events.

Thank you to the village who supports us, because we would not be able to do it otherwise.

Phew..looking forward to Sunday, when we will be taking time for Mother’s Day. 💕
