Headed to celebrate the reason I do what I do! My sweet boy turns 2 this weekend and we are embarking on our first/longest vacation & ✈️…just the two of us 🥹!!!

I will be back by monday, and if you have a meeting scheduled for next week, it is still on my calendar, BUT I will not be taking any additional meetings this upcoming week, as I have final details to prepare before the birthday party!

I greatly appreciate your patience, support & love through this milestone for both myself and my kiddo. He adores all his LWL uncles & aunties 🫶🏾❤️

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘴𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴.

Before him, I was an independent woman whose true love was my passion for my work. After him… well, he is my true love. Point blank. Now every late night meeting, every site visit, every 16hr day away from him…it 𝘔𝘌𝘈𝘕𝘚 𝘔𝘖𝘙𝘌. My love for him 𝘍𝘜𝘌𝘓𝘚 my passion for my business. He is the reason I push so hard. This photoshoot was supposed to be for new headshots, and it very quickly turned into Mr. Curios Cameron wanting to join and be a part…which is exactly what he is. A part of everything I do, and business is nothing short of that.

I have reflected more on this lately because in a few short weeks my angel will be 𝘛𝘞𝘖. No I’m not okay, yes I’m overly emotional, and YES! I am beyond grateful for the opportunities/people God has put in our life to be able to make my dreams of being a FT business owner, FT 9-5 employee, & a FT single mama - our reality. Everyday is FAR from pretty. Haha most days we both have temper tantrums 🤪🤭

The greatest gift is never a successful year, but rather being blessed by being his mama every year!

So with that, I am out of office from now until Jan 2 and I will be back for my first wedding of the year that very weekend!

Tell a friend to tell a friend… SHE’S BACKKKKKKKKK

I’m back with some incredible new headshots, fueled up and ready for this fall season to hit us!!!! Starting the last few weeks of August until end of October, I have 9 weeks of weddings straight. I am beyond excited and grateful to be able to make all these clients special days come together.

The first half of 2024 has been so sweet and all different styles, designs, and even locations ✈️😍
This next half is going to be more challenging for sure with several meetings a week and gone for 2 days every weekend, but it’s worth every single second, because if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life 🤍

Lastly, RONNIE RONNIE RONNIE! Thank you for taking a mama who has NOT been confident in her postpartum body/journey and making me feel like the most beautiful woman ever! (And thanks for dealing with our little assistant destroying the studio, more pics on that to come) BOOK HER EVERYONE. PERIOD 🔥

Meet Kim & Jeff

In the middle/end of July last year I received a message from a bride. The typical “we’ve made it this far but we are realizing we need someone to handle everything the last few months and on the day of.” I responded with “no problem, I would be happy to help when’s the wedding?” The overly stressed bride replied… “UH, SEPTEMBER 3, like 6-7 weeks away”

I almost fell over haha, but she and I clicked immediately and so began the journey of coordinating!!! The meetings were underway, info was shared, venue visit was done, and we were about to finish up rehearsal details when I got a call the Monday before their wedding. Due to sickness that the couple was experiencing, I walked my devastated Kim & Jeff through their options for either cancellation or postponement of the wedding altogether. My heart sank for them. I prayed that they would choose to postpone because this was going to be the most beautiful celebration of a LONG awaited wedding.

They legally married on the actual wedding date, but postponed the celebration to a new date - 8 months away on May 11, 2024. Looking back I’m grateful for those 8 additional months of getting to know and grow close to Kim & Jeff. I learned about their careers, all about their families, their hobbies, their passions, and a little more about them as a couple. Like the fact that it took Jeff 14 years of dating to propose to Kim…No need to do a double take, you read that right. And don’t bring it up, the poor man receives enough 💩 about it from all members of both families.

Their wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. Kim looked like a real princess! After waiting 14 years, and 8 additional months, this was the party of the year for sure! Their families were probably my favorite part; I’ve never been made to feel like a member of a family so quickly. I hate the end of wedding planning since I don’t get to work as closely to my clients…but I LOVE the end of the planning process because I can’t wait to continue watching this friendship blossom!

We love you Kim & Jeff!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 💐🤍✨

Mothers might be the heart of families, but My Boy is the heart of this business.

As a young single mama, the balance between business and baby can be challenging at times, but when it becomes overwhelming I remind myself THIS business is for MY baby. Not just the income, but the drive behind it. I strive EVERY. SINGLE. DAY to show my son that if he’s passionate about something, go get it. If he’s determined enough about something, he can do it. If he’s got strengths in certain areas, to use those talents.

My business isn’t about the amount of events per year, the deposits, or how much I love my clients (which you ALL know is SO VERY MUCH)…my goal is to show my son that he can make a career out of doing something that lights his fire and makes him happy!

TO ALL THE MAMAS: Thank you for creating/raising the amazing couples, and clients I get to interact with daily!!! To my brides who are mamas, I hope you know you hold an extra special place in my heart.
TO MY MAMA: I’m forever grateful you chose to make the biggest sacrifice and give me a chance at life at just 15 years old. Without her I wouldn’t have met any of you!
TO MY BOY: being your mama, is my favorite thing, above ALL ELSE in this world. My heart beats for you & my lungs breathe for you. Thank you for choosing me.

Meet Morgan & Griffin

I met Griffin 4 years back when I was a venue coordinator and he was working with the company he DJs for… shoutout to Casey & the guys for making this whole connection happen!

Shortly after getting engaged, Morgan and I connected as she was looking for a Coordinator, and I said to Griffin….uh, DUH! From that moment forward, I received a front row seat to probably the most beautiful love story I’ve ever witnessed.

These two genuinely display how raw, real, & authentic loving your forever person can be. They had busy work lives, emotional times, and life in general to push past during the planning process. Yet every single time we sat down and had meetings, some how they still found the spark & ignited the fire they both share over getting married! So lastly, I leave you with a true example of just how beautiful their two souls are…I texted them randomly the other day and asked each their favorite things about the other…(one wrote paragraphs and one did not 🤭😂🤫)!!

Morgan: Griffin is supportive and always has my back. He’s so funny (and I, Sarah, can confirm I haven’t seen a situation he can’t make her laugh in)!! I also love that he has a very calming energy.

Griffin: I love how close she is with all my family and friends. I love how even though we make ourselves better together, I know she can always stand on her own and stand up for herself.

IT’S OKAY TO ASK FOR HELP!!!!!!

This goes out to the individuals who “think” they’ve got it all covered. You sat down and made a budget, you quickly booked the venue, you nailed down all your vendors, and you even planned out your decor. Just for doing that you should feel very accomplished, and in a good place. But as the date rapidly approaches, do not feel like you have to personally cross every “t” and dot every “i”…because you simply cannot.

Reward yourself with having someone as your right hand and best friend for the home stretch.

We are almost fully booked for fall 2024, and have limited availability for May-August of 2024. Looking forward to assisting all of our incredible clients this year. So excited for what’s to come!
