Posting this heartwarming video on behalf of Mark Maher. Val had such a kind soul and was truly an incredible person. I was able to talk with Val different times at church or at sporting events I was filming, and although she was battling cancer, her light shined everywhere she went.

Not every video needs to have flashy transitions or cinematic shots, yet what is more important is the story to it, or what we learn from it. Val shared great words of wisdom to all of her children here. Whether it was being a prayer warrior, showing kindness to others, or having a great work ethic, we can all learn something from her words.

Jesus said “This sickness will not end in death. No it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” (John 11:4)

Rest In Peace, Val.
