It's been a while..........

Gosh, what a year since I've last posted. To be honest, the pressure of having to maintain social to be active on here I personally find exhausting. I have messages and emails from friends that I need to reply to, so the thought of having to show I'm active has often been the last thing on my mind.
I have been creating over the year, but just keeping it low key.

However, I'm defrosting like Michael Buble ready for 'the season'
This time of year can be hard for so many, seasonal with weather being lovely or rank!

Hello!!!!

She's still here... silence sometimes necessary after the darkness of midwinter, birthdays, illness, full time work, raising small humans etc...

Spring is trying to come isn't it? waiting patiently for wonderful to make their appearance from the wonderful to start the season of abundant beauty for wonderful events coming up.

please stop raining now please... there are so muddy dogs prints on the floor they have become a interiordesign feature.

lately.....

Very late in the season, sweet peas. I think they were growing on European summer siesta time. But homegrown from seed, this colour is sumptuous and has made its way into many arrangements.

Summer. Solstice.

Late to the party as on night shifts, but this stunning package arrived on Wednesday.

Mummy hold the flowers.

Hello! I'm Cheyenne aka mrs Copper&Bloom. My children are often frustrated that I'm not giving them 100% attention when in the garden as I spy a w**d or am pinning/ supporting a plant but its my total happy place.

Love for gardens was given to me by my grandmother, a very keen gardener who set us to work helping to tend hers. A beautiful space in the countryside surrounded by open fields, lakes, and roses, oh so many roses.

Family trips were to national trust houses because they were an activity where we could be children.

Now older I still appreciate all the good life outdoor things and its a cathartic stress reliever. Whether it be walking my dogs or tending my blooms.

I have learnt to lean into my mindfulness and mental health. Such an importance alongside raising a young family and working for the NHS.

I took the leap I always wanted to take a while back and studied floristry with the truly amazing Georgia and it opened my heart to something that has always made me happy.

Thanks for coming on this journey with me and my enormous Peonies.

Beautiful with Blue.

A beloved friend. An amazing wife and mother. A traveller, a lover of nature, and being outdoors. A business boss, and a women who appreciates a good cup of tea.

She also loves blue and wanted a natural free flowing bouquet to represent the English countryside whilst she is living abroad.

Opulent Tuesdays.

Blushed and blooming tulips. Opened with the petals still clinging onto their life-giving stems.
I personally favour this look with them as you see all the texture and character in their splendid ways.

In my house this is one of the most neutral areas in terms of wall colour but it's a representation of the home giving welcome inviting vibes.

Splashes of colour and gorgeous scents from the garden. Homemade earthenware, dried flowers and junk shop finds.

Monday. Mojito!

It is Monday but sadly I haven't had a Mojito....

Winter. Sun.

It's blooming cold but the sun still shines. Spring bulbs are starting to show and in a few months the buds on trees will start to emerge.

Seasons are to be embraced. (I am thankful it's not pouring with rain for dog walking!)

I'm emerging like a chrysalis into this year. Took a social media break and it was a lovely.
Time out for yourself is so bloody important, so do it.

Anyhow, I'm totally invested into this year and making more beautiful creations-huzzah!

I am cold. Thankful to be warm and cold and grateful it isn't raining (yet)
