Homebass END OF YEAR PARTY! Artist spotlight -

Ethereal layers and driving rhythms define Immerse’s style. Drawn to technical percussion, hypnotic baselines and soundscapes infused with emotion and grit, she weaves journeys seeped in ritual and mysticism through the realms of dubstep and drum and bass.

She’s an active presence in the underground scene in Adelaide and Melbourne, creating spaces for the darker side of bass music and pushing lesser-heard subgenres in her sets and events. 2024 has seen her support international acts including Ternion Sound, Kahn & Neek and Enei, and represent notable crews both locally and interstate, including Twisted Audio and SnakePit Sound.

Through her events brand, wavecult, she’s helping put SA on the map, hosting a range of international artists in Adelaide and drawing creatives from across the country to Imbolc, her bass-focused winter festival.

Influenced by her love of moody, progressive metal and the bass-heavy genres of wave, trap and grime, she’s found her niche exploring and expressing the beauty in the darkness and the intricate depths of sound.

Melbourne’s own, Boydex, is a rising force in the bass music world. As a DJ/Producer, his music is inspired by the likes of Pretty Lights, Gramatik, and Daily Bread, just to name a few. Boydex’s music is a fusion of energetic breaky beats, catchy melodies and vocals, and big heavy basslines. 2024 has been a massive year for him, with an impressive 14 label releases under his belt, plus an album on the near horizon. Featuring at many of Australia’s biggest music Festivals such as Esoteric, Raindance, Archaic Gathering, The Town and more, over the past few years his momentum has undoubtedly gathered speed and there is much more on the horizon. Leng Lewn is a Melbourne based DJ and music producer who some refer to as ‘A Genre Fluid Bass
Fiend’, because at its core; he believes that music is simply art, and that it should be expressed that way
as vividly as possible.
BPMs and Genres are seen by him as mood markers & tools, rather than a restrictive concept that you
so often see/hear.

Welcoming to Homebass this month & celebrating his debut album released today on !! Absolutely stunning body of work, make sure you check it out from start to finish 🤌

Hailing from Perth, Australia, the stalwart songwriter and producer Eputty has made consistent strides across the last 4 years, zeroing in on a sound and style that features contemporary electronic influence and an extremely pronounced compositional gait. Mingling high-powered sound design with a nod to the dance floor, there’s no shortage of impact to his personal catalog, but his latest collection of tracks stands several heads above his established works. Containing the excitement to ourselves until now, The Rust Music is especially grateful to host the release of his debut LP, The Possession.

Drum and bass, drumstep, meandering downtempo, and club-centric rhythms all make an appearance across The Possession. Coming out of the gate with blistering percussion, the album flows with a professional grace, as each track fits adjacent to one another with the ease of an intentional and well-crafted mix. The neuro synthesis and brackish, textured tones lend themselves to the particularly dark atmospheres that underpin so much of the flavor packed into these 10 songs, giving the entire package a palpable emotional heft.
