⭐️ARTIST SPOTLIGHT ⭐️
We’re very happy to have the talented joining us this time round 🙌
Here’s some more information on the man himself 👇
Hailing from the South East of the UK, AJAX is often playing between London and Brighton where he has been building his name on the underground scene over the last few years.
AJAX went to Point Blank Music School in London where he learnt how to mix, then began his journey which has seen him DJ in the UK and internationally, host multiple radio shows and launch his own brand ‘AFTRS’ in Brighton.
AJAX’s sound would fall under the Minimal umbrella, but the type of the event & set time determines what vibe he will go for. This could range from high energy Minimal Deep Tech influenced by Waff, Marco Carola & Luciano, or it could be a slightly groovier, bass driven Minima House set inspired by Archie Hamilton, Rossi, Sidney Charles, etc...
The musical palette that AJAX brings to the dancefloor has found him in favour of gigs in Brighton, London, Amsterdam and Vietnam where he has supported the likes of Fabe, Okain, Admnti, Prok | Fitch, Joris Voorn and more. This summer AJAX has been busy in Brighton where he has played at Block, The Tempest Inn, Coalition and even closed the Carl Cox Official After-Party at the legendary Concorde2 venue!
Alongside his DJ career, AJAX also runs .uk which is Brighton’s newest after-hours event to hit the South Coast. He decided to launch the brand back in 2019 after years of raving and experiencing after-parties across the world, and now he wants people to experience the magic of the after-hours! With a focus on building a community of like-minded music lovers, stripped back raving, and a strict policy of underground music - this is a great outlet for AJAX’s more emotional side to DJing where he can fully express himself musically and play some darker Minimal/Rominimal in his sets - perfect for those late night/early morning gigs.
AJAX isn’t showing any signs of slowing down and has some exciting plans to keep the momentum going over the next year, including stepping into the production space!
