Today, we are going to talk about Uhaul! After starting this business I quickly realized that my personal vehicle wasn’t going to always cut it especially on busy weekends or large installations. Buying a work truck is in the near future but for now, Uhaul is your best bet. Here are some tips I have learned while using uhaul and hopefully it gives you the confidence to rent one!

1. ALWAYS, ALWAYS confirm the mileage is the same as your receipt, this avoids you getting charged for extra miles that you never used. When returning, also take a photo of the odometer so you can confirm you got charged for the right amount. (I have caught discrepancies at both times)
2. Save some gas by turning off the Tow/Haul feature on the truck. This automatically comes on when you start the truck, it’s meant for towing a truck full of furniture, so always turn this off especially when you’re driving an empty truck or a truck full of air filled balloons. It uses up more gas.
3. When returning your truck, utilize the meter on your receipt to calculate exactly how much gas you need for return. Never overfill!! You don’t get credit for filling it up extra and they don’t give you your money back.
Hope this gives you some confidence the next time you need a bigger vehicle! Renting U-Haul’s allows me to arrive on site ready to go with everything inflated. It saves you time at each event and avoids multiple trips to transport things. Let me know in the comments if any of this was helpful!

It feels like lately I’ve been seeing them more and more and the worst part is almost none of them list in the description that it is an AI image! That feels so misleading to me and it’s almost the same as stealing another creators content and sharing it as your own.

This was a moment I will never forget!! We had the honor of working with the @azcardinals for their NFL Draft Party. You know we had to go big for this one. The entrance was GRAND and the inside was even bigger (more to come).

What’s my biggest pet peeve as a balloon artist? CHANGE OF PLANS! In this case the rain made us change our plans. We planned this beautiful Christmas themed first birthday for weeks, got it perfect with the custom colors and other party details. The day finally arrived and it was rain in the forecast 😭
We explored other options, but ultimately we went back to the original plan. Luckily the rain stopped long enough for me to set up and ended before the party started. Nothing a little plastic cover couldn’t fix.
I got super lucky in this situation, I’ve seen complete nightmares with rain. Always have to be ready with different solutions especially with outdoor installation when weather is out of our control.
