Nohar began her musical journey in Jerusalem, where she discovered the feeling of power that comes from self-expression. Having planned, organized, and played at national protests and social uprisings, she learned to unite her surroundings through music. Emotional strengths are the core of NOHAR STER's music selection: her use of heavy kicks creates a sound that knows its mind. She brings industrial techno to its most abstract edge to create an unpredictable, touching, and ultimate human feeling.
She found her pathway through being a resident at Pergamon Club in Jerusalem, where she explored her relationship with music even further. Her ability and determination soon led her to play throughout Israel, and now it has brought her here to us in Berlin, where she has co-founded the art collective KVETCH. Her music follows suit as she builds and finds new journeys through her creative life.
Nohar makes her presence known on stage by building an uncompromising, physical atmosphere. You can feel her artistic interest as she splashes colorful sounds onto black and white beats. We are so excited to have her on our audio diaries: feel the power take hold of the body and the mind!
