Hi. It’s me. The human behind Copper River + Co. and your rock through the wedding planning process.

I’m a former corporate girlie (aren’t we all), that healed from the soul sucking industry that is healthcare administration.

I worked as a Project Manager and Practice Administrator for over 6 years. So l guess it’s no surprise that I have an affinity for reviewing contracts, creating/executing project plans, standing up new systems, training departments and building out SOPs. I loved what I did. Truly. But I was lacking a sense of purpose, didn’t feel fulfilled creatively, and was tired of being surrounded by people that were solely driven by money.

I tossed around the idea of starting a full service wedding planning and design firm, but in true enneagram 6 fashion, there was no way I was giving up the financial security that corporate job offered. Until I had a really, and I mean really, bad day at work. My husband told me to quit and said that if being a wedding planner would make me happy, then he was 100% on board (love that support for me).

And we made it happen. We got this biz legal and celebrated our very first couple over a year and a half ago. I’m happy to share that I finally found a career and industry that I love.

When you book Copper River + Co., you get ME. Every step of the way. Working with my couples one on one and creating a genuine connection is what fills my cup. And I pour back into them by crafting an unforgettable wedding experience that is intentional and true to who they are.

In case you are still unsure about who you are booking when you book me, here are a few more facts:

• Sour gummies are my kryptonite. No joke, I told my SIL that she could pay me in gummies and energy drinks to plan her wedding
• I have a degree in Marine Biology and I had no intention of ever using it
• I was a vet tech all through college and found that I thrive under pressure and in emergencies
• I’ve made my love for National Parks my personality

Anyway, thanks for being here and supporting this dream of mine 🤍

Copper River + Co. turned one over the weekend! 🎂🍾

I can’t believe it’s been a year since we celebrated CRC’s very first couple, the Shorts. I’m forever grateful that they trusted me with planning their special day. It was truly an honor to have stood by their side. The days of me planning, while also being in the wedding party began and ended on that day 😂 Just a little trial by fire to ensure that I really wanted to start down the path to creating what Copper River + Co. is today.

In our first year, we celebrated 2 full planning + design couples, 1 day-of couple and assisted in 3 additional weddings. As we move into our second year, we have the honor of celebrating 10 more couples.

None of this would be possible without the love and support from my husband, our family and friends, the wedding industry pals I’ve made along the way, and the couples we serve. So thank you all for being a part of this adventure 🤍
