I had a wonderful time with our client Rachael from the as guests at the Caring For Our Coast 10 year anniversary luncheon!

Caring For Our Coast was instrumental in making the Energy Corridor’s eARTh day celebration a success earlier this year, and from the presentations heard today, they do so much important work for our coast lines and other natural habitats around the country.

(I also have inside information that you may see Citgo helping us get Santa to this year’s Energy Corridor Holiday Tree Lighting 👀🎅🌨️)

Nearlyweds don’t sleep on bringing elements from your wedding invitations into your wedding decor! Our recent couple, Allie & Travis, wanted a custom toile using illustrations that told their story as a couple. From there, we collaborated with Allie on bringing that toile into the wedding day as a custom es**rt display in their reception. Once all the cards were removed, guests were treated to an unobstructed view of each of the designs and why they mattered to the couple! 🥰

I couldn’t let National Pet Day pass without introducing yall to Bella!

Bella is Dennis & Cori’s pet dog, and although she was doing great at doggy day care and classes, the couple didn’t bring her to the wedding, but knew they wanted her to be a part of their special day.

One way they did that was by placing her in their wedding cake! Cori found personalized mini dog figurines online, purchased one in Bella’s likeness, and dropped her off to Gina a week before the wedding reception so that the cake team could include Bella on the cake while they decorated it! So cute! 😍🐶

One thing about me is I am a sucker for mirror balls 🪩😍. The only thing better than them by themselves, is when I meet a couple who loves them as much as I do, and that’s Maggie & Alex!

Maggie had impeccable style and decor tastes! While we were coordinating her wedding day she gave us a few boxes of these disco balls in all different sizes and let us go to town putting them everywhere! 😍

13 years ago when I started my wedding planning career, I sent out introductory packages to 25 Houston wedding vendors who I was excited to work with. I selected the list based on market research and word of mouth. Of those 25 vendors only one responded to my package and invited me to come tour her showroom, and it was Rebekah at .htx.

Over the years I’ve built relationships with certain wedding pros that I say I would lay on a sword for, but Rebekah definitely tops the list. Since 2011, we’ve collaborated to ensure many of my couples on their big day.

I’m grateful to her and for opening their showroom and beautiful talents and inventory up to my team to have our team photo shoot in last month. 😍
