Mesmeriza, the mistress of mesmerizing beats, and GSE, the powerhouse of the turntables, are set to unleash an unforgettable night of hardcore madness at Save the Vinyl on December 23, 2023, at the Graanfabriek, Groningen. π
Mesmeriza, a true hardcore aficionado, first graced Save the Vinyl in 2015 as a visitor and then she instantly fell in love with the charm and unique sound of vinyl. Mesmeriza embarked on her vinyl journey in 2016, swiftly acquiring two turntables and a mixer to master the art of mixing. It didn't take long for this to evolve into her passion. When she started spinning she rapidly gained acclaim for her delightful mixing skills and exceptional track selection. Mesmeriza's love for early hardcore was already profound, and she remains on a constant quest for undiscovered tracks. Thrilled to share this passion with others, she is eager to take you on a journey through the realms of early hardcore.
Her ultimate goal is crystal clear: to keep vinyl and the nostalgic 90's hardcore sound alive. Adding to the mix, Mesmeriza also goes by the alias Demoniax, showcasing her versatility. Her talents have graced events like "This Is Madness", "Play! Festival", "Gabber Syndrome Birthday Bash", "Early Heroes", "Vinyl Freaks", "Gabber Resistance", "Hard Attack", "Rave Cult", and even transcending borders to perform at Barbaar in Belgium.. π Her dedication to the art is unwavering, to the point where she staunchly refuses to embrace performing with digital formats, staying true to the vinyl roots that captured her heart. πΆ
GSE shares the same conviction, firmly believing in the magic of vinyl. It's no surprise that these two artists seamlessly complement each other, sharing a passion that resonates in every beat when they spin together. π₯
GSE's vinyl journey started in 2013, on a mundane Friday night in his Groningen dorm room, GSE decided to attend a party called "Only Early." There, he witnessed Gabber Syndrome and Putty spinning vinyl for the first time, an experience that left him hooked on their sound. GSE was especially captivated by the nostalgic charm and undeniable "vibe" that vinyl introduced into the mix. Inspired by this encounter, GSE embarked on his vinyl journey in 2016, spinning and collecting Early Hardcore vinyl. Since then, GSE has graced various events, including Gabber Syndrome vs. Save the Vinyl," "Gabber Syndrome - 10 year anniversary," "Vinyl Freaks," "Turbulence," and "Gabber Resistance" in both Holland and Spain. π₯
