About Virtual Open-Mics

Virtual Open Mics (VOM) follow an event based format. To participate, you submit your video to the next available event. http://www.facebook.com/virtualopenmics/events/ Much in the same way that you put your name on a sign-up sheet. Virtual Open Mics are on a Tuesday/Saturday/Thursday schedule.

The objective is to emulate the experience of an open mic, where many performers come together to produce something - an exposition, or in our case an event/episode. This breeds a sense of connection and increases each artist’s exposure to other performers and opportunity to express support.

VOM has performers and an audience from around the world. Countries represented in VOM performances include: - Australia - Canada - France - Ireland - Hungary - India - Malaysia - New Zealand - Russia - Scotland - South Africa - United Kingdom - United States of America - Uzbekistan
