Honoured to host this trivia night for an incredible cause close to my heart. In September I have the privilege of accompanying a group of young people to Timor-Leste to assist in the school building project in Kulugia. To raise funds for our immersion, the group are hosting a trivia night at the Neale Daniher Pavillion at ACK. Get a table together and support a great cause! What is Quizzical Education? Quizzical Education is more than just a hobby, but a passion.

My name is Ben and welcome to Quizzical Education. The Quizzical Education story begins in my infancy. My love for trivia forms some of my earliest memories, when I would sit on the couch as a child and compete against my parents in TV game shows like Sale of the Century, Who Wants to be a Millionaire and more. As I grew, my love for all things trivia grew with me, scouring the newspapers for the quizzes and collecting Carlton Draught bottle tops from footy clubs for their trivia questions.

After graduating from high school, I earned my 15 minutes of fame, competing in Channel 7s Million Dollar Minute program, where I was the youngest nightly winner in the show’s history at just 20 years old, taking home over $26,000. This success fuelled my love for trivia and I became a much sought after competitor on various trivia teams, winning various local weekly trivia competitions. However, I grew tired of the repetitive, boring, paper and pen nature of many trivia competitions and wondered how I could make these events more exciting and accessible while combining my love of trivia and quizzes with my passion for education and learning. From this an idea was born: Quizzical Education.

Quizzical Education is an independent Melbourne business dedicated to the creation and hosting of unique, exciting and entertaining trivia events and social functions.
