My name is Charity Lamidi, Computer Science Student, I'm from Nigeria 🇳🇬 and I'm your Welfare Officer for ACS.

“You can make a difference”, This is what i think this role is about. It is my assertion that collectively; given the role of Welfare Officer that EVERY STUDENT can make a positive difference to the holistic wellbeing of the ACS students.
Creating campaigns that raise awareness of mental health, open mic nights, social events discussions, forums, as well as creating closer links with Africans and Caribbean students are part of what I hope on achieving with other team members among many others.


What makes me different:
I have many transferable skills and excellent work ethics which wIll allow me to play a part in this role excellently . I’m caring, friendly, patient, a listener and a goal getter. So be rest assured that all your needs and concerns whatever area it might be (Academic, social, finance, personal, mental etc) will be heard, tackled and worked upon by myself and the team as a collective.
