Reminder for anyone planning to attend post prom, waivers/sign ups are due TOMORROW (April 22). After you have them signed, they can be turned into the HS office. It is essential that these are turned in as we need to have a head count for ticket purchases and adequate bus seating. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Amber Fallert Harlin, Micah Greg Dickens, Heather Miller, Amber Roley, Soo Harris, Kristi Montgomery, Corrie Stauder or Bethany Nichols.
Attention ALL Okaw Valley Senior HS students… We need volunteers to sell 50/50 tickets at the High School Boys and Girls basketball games to help raise money for your Post Prom. It’s possible this will be our only actual fundraiser, so we need to make it count! Hey everyone! We are repurposing this page for our next event… Post Prom 2022! The senior class will be in charge of fundraising and planning this event and we need all the help we can get! I will update this page with meeting times and fundraising events. Currently, we need senior class students to volunteer to sell 50/50 tickets at all the home girls and boys basketball games. Please contact us through this page if you can help!
For clarification, Prom is at the Masonic Temple (105 W. Jefferson, Sullivan). It is NOT at Mason Point.

Parents/family - You are welcome to attend coronation at 7pm. Overflow parking can utilize the Methodist church parking lot just west of the Masonic Temple.

We will be doing a final count of RSVPs tomorrow evening. If you haven’t sent yours in yet and you are planning to go, please send us a message by 5pm tomorrow (April 21st) letting us know. This is especially important for guests that plan to eat dinner.
If you are planning to attend the dance only, the RSVP is helpful to us, but not as important. Thank you!!
The Junior Class Parent Prom Committee has been made aware of some confusion over the event we are hosting (Jr/Sr Prom) and another event being hosted by a separate group for Seniors Only on a different date. Our Jr/Sr Prom is being hosted by a group of Okaw Valley Junior class parents, as prom would be traditionally hosted by the Junior class in non-pandemic times. Please know, these are separate events and the Seniors who choose to do so, are able and encouraged to attend both events. We welcome the opportunity to provide our kids with a sense of normalcy in order to make the memories that they would have otherwise not been able to have this year. Don’t forget to get the RSVPs for the Jr/Sr Prom mailed into us. If you have misplaced your RSVP card, you may send a private message to Kristi Bunfill Montgomery. If you have lost your waiver form, let us know and we’ll get you another one. We are looking forward to seeing you all May 8th!
Just a reminder to get your RSVPs mailed back to us. These must be post marked by April 15th in order for us to finalize the meal preparations and a few other things. Even if you don’t plan to attend, it’s very helpful to send your RSVP back with that response. If you have not received your invitation, please let us know. We are working very hard to make this a great night for you all and we can’t wait to have you!!

Invitation flyers and waivers have been sent out to all Okaw Valley High School Juniors and Seniors! If you do not receive one, please let us know and we will get one to you. Each envelope contains an already stamped, return envelope. Please use this to mail in your RSVP and waiver form post marked by April 15th.
DATE: May 8th, 2021
TIME: Check-in/Photos at 5:00pm. Dinner served at 6:00pm. Coronation at 7:00pm. Music and Dancing from 8:00pm-11:00pm.
PLACE: The Masonic Temple, 107 W. Jefferson St., Sullivan
COST: $10/person at check-in (cash only please)
DINNER: Choice of pork chop or grilled chicken, baked potato, salad and tea or lemonade.
THEME: Masquerade Ball
COLORS: Silver/Blue/Gold/Black
This event is for all Okaw Valley HS Juniors and Seniors and their plus one. Your plus one may be a Freshman or Sophomore, but must be under the age of 21 and must also have a signed waiver. Masks are encouraged by all.
Voting for the Prom Court will take place at check-in, so be thinking about who you would like to vote for!
