Happy Stressgiving- no!!

In one of the local grocery markets today I heard a couple ask a staffer about their flower shipments coming in next week. The staffers response was …we get our flowers in at 4am, place them on the floor at 6am, open at 8am and cannot guarantee you what colors or varieties we’ll have bc there may be a line outside to get in. The couple was logistically trying to figure out the timing of when they could arrive and maybe get a bunch of the color they wanted to take home and then have to design them in their vases.

It was an interesting eavesdropping moment but one that we understand.
If you have an idea of the color or flower you love let us know. We are placing small batch orders with our vendors daily.

Our Thanksgiving custom ordering is open until Monday. We can deliver or you can pick up in our peaceful studio. We can design in your vase or ours and give you a bouquet of extras to fill those “other vases” to be your own designer! One of our clients asked us for burgundy stems to fill 18 bud vases and a kitchen island vase. She is picking them up Wednesday and loves to design her own.

Let’s take the sun drenched roses as much as we can! I loved this impromptu shot in the studio yesterday when packing for an event and everything just sparkled. It’s those teeny moments of admiration & breath.

Celebrating happy moments are cherished.
I recently got the pleasure of flowering a 20th wedding anniversary for dear friends, Meredith & Rahul. They celebrated with a gorgeous vow renewal at the same beautiful location in Southport Island, Maine under the same white arbor as 20 years prior. In front of their kids, friends and family; it was a weekend that we’ll long cherish. Meredith (and entire family!) looked radiant and the backdrop of Maine in autumn wasn’t so bad either! I was told it rained a lot on their original wedding day so they got weather revenge this time around!

We had a few original wedding photos to work with and bride & I decided immediately we would use the same palette and some of the same flower varieties and just update a bit! The gorgeous red, peach and orange roses mixed with local dahlia in bright colors was beautiful & also included a few flowers from the hotels garden in Meredith’s bouquet which made it extra special.

Can’t wait to share the rest! The brides mom, Dawn, & I flowered every centerpiece on site setting up studio in the hotels ballroom 🙏. It was a happy weekend that slowed down the pace of life and we all need that!

What a Raya of Sunshine! 🌞 We’ve been having more fun this year with Mitzvah floristry & it’s because of clients like this family! Amy & I go back to event planning days with babies in tow trying to figure out this new suburb lifestyle! Amy can plan any event basically so when she asked us to source hundreds of neon color roses for her daughter, Raya’s, mitzvah and do her bimah flowers we jumped. Amy had the rest well under control with this super fun Raya of Sunshine theme! We were so happy to be part of their special day!! Mazel Sinclair family! 💕

This is long overdue but a very happy 2nd anniversary to one of our most magical couples, Amanda & Michael. Cannot believe it’s been 2 years! Couples- enjoy all of your day in every way bc it goes by so fast even from the florists perspective 🥰

We loved flowering this wedding so much with Amanda’s pink & peach garden vision & a bouquet full of pink garden roses that we all could have lived in.. Rumor has it their family became even larger & cuter over this past year. Congrats Mama Amanda & Dada Michael. 🍼💕 Fun fact: Amanda’s was Michele’ sons teacher assistant in Kindergarten and we miss her!
