Hey BCB family! I know some of us are looking for solo costumes or maybe even duo costumes. Add your albums of what costumes you have to sell. You can always make an offer on a costume if you think price is to high. I’m all about saving money so buying a used costume is a huge help because Adrianna wouldn’t be able to dance this year if I didn’t find cheap costumes with prices of comps and classes going up. I would love to set up a Sunday where we bring costumes to studio for everyone to look at and try one if we can get approval.

Also I love rhinestoning and am will to work out a budget friendly deal to rhinestone some costumes, shoes, and hair pieces (cost of rhinestones, glue, and labor). I’m not the greatest at it but the ones I have done for adrianna and hip hop trio last year turned out really well I think.

If anyone would like be another admin of this page please let know and I will add you because you might have better ideas on how to keep the group organized! Let’s help each other out as a dance family on saving money on costume.

If you are looking for a costume make a ISO post and maybe someone has it.

If this group doesn’t work out I’ll close it after this season. I just know several moms have talked about creating one so I went ahead decided to be in charge of it since I can’t help with others things with my work schedule.

If Bailey will let someone post costumes from the costume room at studio that would help.

Bought two sets last season when there was a shortage of clogs. Didn’t end up needing these. They are split sole, these are the only kind of clog shoes Adrianna can wear without they flying off her feet being to stiff. $75 and I’ll even rhinestone the heels for you if want.

Just bought these and figured I’d see if anyone wants to buy them. These have the bottom strap that is cross cross and it drives adrianna nuts. I wasn’t paying attention when I bought them. Paid $21.50 for them. Asking $15. My loss your gain. Size XL(she has very wide feet so I have to buy big size for her but these would fit a teen for sure.

Venmo
Admins are aware that Venmo is moving towards the same buying and selling model as PayPal (Venmo is owned by PayPal after all). This means you’ll begin to see the option to pay an authorized business account, OR be able to tag payments as purchases of goods and services. This is still in the early stages and we are seeing that it isn’t always an option to tag a payment as a goods and services purchase. We are also seeing that some people are claiming they have an authorized business account but have not actually applied for a business account or been designated as such.
Due to this, we are still asking all members on our group to continue using PayPal goods and services when buying any used item from an individual (non business). As always, purchases made here or initiated on this group are at your own risk.
Here is a statement from Venmo:

“Unless directly given the option by Venmo, DO NOT USE VENMO TO TRANSACT WITH PEOPLE YOU DON’T PERSONALLY KNOW, ESPECIALLY IF THE TRANSACTION INVOLVES THE PURCHASE OR SALE OF A GOOD OR SERVICE”

⚠️ Admin post regarding sanitizing costumes:
Dance costumes are worn very close to the body and often without undergarments. It is the sellers responsibility to have these costumes cleaned and sanitized BEFORE listing.
Below are some requirements and tips:
-Use a disinfectant wipe to throughly clean the areas of costume that touch any private areas. (Spot test to be sure your item is colorfast).
-Use rubbing alcohol to sanitize.
-Air dry completely before packaging to avoid mildew and mold.
-Dry cleaners
In the event that a buyer messages you about this issue you must offer a full refund immediately, have customer ship your item to you first.
In the event that you receive an item that is not clean please KINDLY message an admin (no photos are necessary) and message the seller. This is probably going to be embarrassing to them, so let them know you can provide a photo and request the full refund. If they refuse, an admin can help.
Do not wash an item if you receive it this way, PayPal will not allow a refund if you attempt to wash the item.
If all else fails a PayPal claim may be necessary. This is a reason why we suggest on everyone paying through PayPal as goods and services. Add the seller fee to the costume price and note it. when you are purchasing a used item.

Please create your own album titled with your name so you can monitor it easier. Admins are not responsible for the selling or replying to any comments unless they are inappropriate/bulling.

Please make sure costumes have been cleaned before you post and sell.

Buy and sell at your own risk. Admins are not responsible for any transactions. The most we can do is remove members. A PayPal claim may be necessary. This is why highly we suggest on everyone paying through PayPal as goods and services. Add the seller fee to the costume price and note it. when you are purchasing a used item. Or just do all transactions in person at the studio or a public place.

You can ship or do local pickup/drop-off. Make sure you include in your post which way you would like to use. If shipping please state your shipping cost (whether it’s included or not) or say it will depend on location.

Please do not bump your post more than once a week.

Please include in your post size, condition, price, and brand.
