me, now, i’m a dj.
i spend hours behind the decks,
sculpting sound like one sculpts light,
chasing the note that makes you shiver,
the beat that makes you forget time.
but deep down, what’s always driven me
isn’t just rhythm,
not even technique…
it’s the crowd.
it’s dancing with eyes closed,
never watching the hours slip by.
it’s feeling bodies move as one to the pulse,
seeing faces light up at the turn of an unexpected break, as if the world, suddenly, was breathing in sync.
i come from that —
that raw energy, that shared trance,
that insatiable curiosity
for sounds from elsewhere,
for styles that answer to nothing
but the heart.
today i create, i blend,
i travel through frequencies to make others travel.
i’m behind the stage,
but it’s still the fire of the crowd that guides me.
every track i play
is a piece of what i once felt on the dancefloor,
losing myself in the music,
a kind of offering to those who listen,
to those who, like me, chase the rush of something real.
i’m a dj now.
but still that same dancer.
still that same sun burning in my belly,
burning to make others feel alive.
