Universal Space is Anja Schultze, a psytrance DJ from Johannesburg, South Africa. She entered the psychedelic scene at the end of 2016 and absolutely fell in love with the music, the people, and the community as a whole. The intricate and funky sounds combined with driving baselines are what got her feet moving and her love for this music started to grow.

Anja started to DJ at the end of 2018. She strives to bring space with melodic sounds and uplifting baselines that will make anyone feel inspired on the dance floor. Her description of what she loves to play is melodic uplifting prog with heartstring vocals. As a DJ she plays anything in the range of 136-142 bpm. She has also played alongside well-known local and international artists like Gonzi, Fever_Cy, Brontide, Savage Koala, Psymantis, Key To Insanity, Gonzo, Hippie Mafia, Shadow Shaman, Lunch Money, Greyscal3, MRSub, Craig P, Abstract Mind, Mowgli, Jahmanji, Kaoss Kontrol, Audio Architect, Semantics to name but a few.
