Now, more than ever, q***r and trans folks of all ages are in need of welcoming, affirming, and supportive spaces to gather. With anti-q***r and anti-trans legislation around the nation and within Texas our community needs to know they are loved and cared for. Bruce’s Spot will be that space for Taylor and for greater Williamson County, which is a historically conservative county. Bruce’s Spot will be the space where folks can gather in community without fear of being judged or condemned by others. This is especially important for q***r and trans youth to help protect them and foster the development of their identity and sense of self.
