There are many things to think about when choosing your wedding venue, but location is a big factor when having a more eco friendly day. Think about how far the majority of your guests will have to travel. Also, consider having your ceremony and reception in the same venue to cut out travel between the two.

You don’t have to use cut flowers and foliage for your wedding decor. You can still have real florals and be even more sustainable by using plants! These look amazing in crates or pots as table centres or they can be used along side some cut florals to create a larger installation for your ceremony for example. And the best thing about them is you can gift them to guests on the day, so not only are you creating beautiful decor that can live on after your day, but you are saving yourself money by using them as favours or gifts as well! Win win!!

So if you just have to have that dessert or charcuterie table hire someone in that knows what they’re doing as they will have the experience of catering for a set number of people so there is less waste.
