Interrupting your afternoon scroll to brag on this literal angel, Erin Mary! LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS GIRL! She came onto the team guns blazing with natural skill and eager to learn the wedding world! As she assisted and shadowed me, it only made me more confident in her than I already was! I watched as she took notes and studied so thoroughly. She just GOT IT and I could see the love for it grow in her.

But this weekend, she outdid herself! As soon as she signed on, she got thrown a pretty big wedding to lead since I was booked for a wedding in Maryland. It was an outdoor wedding on a rainy day and very last minute her assistant couldn’t make it, so it became a solo mission! 🥹

She went BOLDLY, trusting in her ability to anticipate issues before they arise. Not only did she absolutely NAIL the wedding, I got texts and emails from multiple people saying how kind and capable she was even in the midst of a wedding with a lot of moving parts. Shown are a text from the photographer and an email from the caterer. No one would have known it was her first time!

While I am moved to tears, I can’t say I’m the least bit surprised! I’ve loved her since I met her. And boyyyyy, is she about to be a FORCE on the wedding scene! Get ready, folks! Because Erin Mary is not coming to play!

Being a business owner is scary. This business is my baby and it’s scary to watch it bloom beyond what lil’ ol me is capable of by myself. So having a team of good humans that I TRUST with everything in me is the greatest gift I could ask for!

I’m smiling so hard right now because I get to introduce y’all to our newest lead coordinator, Erin Mary! 💕🎉

Ché&Co. is growing SO FAST and with it comes adding more great peeps to make up the “&Co”. We are truly so pumped about adding sweet Erin Mary to our squad! When I say she has been the most perfect fit! She’s worked with us as a wedding assistant, but now will start lead coordinating weddings of her own next month!

Erin Mary is a Lancaster native who has spent most of her life as a (seriously unfairly talented) singer, actor and dancer. She is the kinda person that makes your cheeks hurt when you talk with her because you’re smiling so much. She is kind, warm and fierce at the same time. She is sweet as pie, deeply cares for others but can command a room like no other.

When I first started in the wedding industry, I envisioned myself clacking around in cute heels, a full face of makeup and an earpiece. I guess I have JLo in The Wedding Planner to thank for that.

I soon realized that was I had thought would be my weakness (my down to earth vibe) was actually my greatest strength and why a lot of my clients have booked me.

One thing I always tell my clients, I’m as professional as they come but the experience you get booking with me is one of a friend, a homegirl and someone truly in your corner.

This past weekend was such a full circle moment! I was the Wedding Coordinator for Devin & Dawson back in 2022 and they recommended me to one of their family members a year ago. Flash forward to last Saturday at Ruthann & Spencer’s wedding and it was such a sweet moment for me to get to see them after two years!

Weeeeee’re GROWING! 💐 *excited squeal* Meet Kelly, our newest Ché&Co. Wedding Coordinator!

Guys, I am the LUCKIEST to be adding this beauty to our rapidly growing team! With so many bookings this year it was time to bring on another lead coordinator and Kelly couldn’t be more perfect! I describe her as the perfect balance of professional, quirky, sweet and hilarious. To know her is to adore her!

Here’s some fun facts about our girl:

🌸 Kelly has been in the wedding industry for a few years working with leading companies in the industry.
🌺 Kelly is married to Justin, another one of our incredible officiants, and a new mama to sweet baby Mia!

A quick rehearsal morning of the wedding? No prob. Typically, I’ve been a bigger fan of the rehearsal taking place the night before. But as a day of rehearsal becomes more popular, it’s growing on me! (with ample time in the timeline, of course) What’s your opinion—rehearsing the day before or the day of? Before I was a Wedding Coordinator, I was a bridesmaid. Actually, I was once a bridesmaid in THREE WEDDINGS in ONE SUMMER 🥲 So grateful for all my bridesmaids girlies. I cannot stress enough the importance of having great people standing beside you. It’s not always the quantity, but QUALITY! Trust me, they have the power to make or break your wedding day!

The behind the scenes of being a business owner. This is a candid of me taken last night at 11:30pm after a full day of work, a couple client and inquiry meetings and dozens of emails.

When you invest in a service from a small business owner, you’re investing in the hours of training and experience, systems and CRMs to run the business, lead meetings that don’t go anywhere, products and tools that are needed, and hours and HOURS (!) of late night behind the scenes work that it takes to provide an excellent service for your clients.

I would not trade a moment of it. Ché&Co. is my baby and you can rest assured that because my name is on it, you’re getting a quality service from someone who it genuinely matters to. There are constantly 57 tabs open in my brain holding space for each individual client and the intricacies of their weddings.

So, thank you, for trusting me and letting me turn this thing that I so desperately love into a full-time career. Here’s to 2024 wedding season! 🤍

Happy Birthday CHÉ&CO. WEDDINGS 😭♥️

One year ago today, on my 30th birthday, I officially launched weddings after doing about 100 weddings under my own name. I was scared, overwhelmed, excited and hopeful for what the Lord was going to do! The vision for everything came so naturally and I cannot thank enough for all her hard work understanding my little fragments of thoughts and ideas and making it a reality through my website and marketing!

Y’all I knew running a business would be hard work. But (and excuse my French) DAMN 🤣 I would’ve never imagined I could do it. Just a theatre girl learning how to do this big adult thing with absolutely no clue how.

One year later and I am BLOWN AWAY with how far this baby business has come. 2024 bookings are nearly full and I am so so so abundantly grateful for the trust you all put in me each time to execute your wedding day. Whew, cue the tears. This business would be nothing without each of you and I know that. Know that I love you.

Pictured is the conception of the logo ideas I did on the white board at my then job and a picture I took of myself after I met for the first time with and to get started with the process. I was in the brink of tears and I thought “Who am I to do this?! I can’t do this!” Here’s to growth and believing you can do hard things!

And with that, we close out our 2023 wedding season! 59 weddings later—whew! This year was my first year of being FULL TIME with my wedding business and I literally NEVER in my wildest dreams would I have imagined it would go this well! Next year has little availability left and is full of travel, which is such a blessing! But if you were considering hiring us for your 2024 wedding, reach out ASAP! 2025 books will be open soon!

This year I had the sweetest couples and walked away with some great memories and stories! To all my 2023 couples, thank you for trusting me with your big day! Know that I never ever take it for granted! To all the vendors I’ve gotten to work with this year, THANK YOU—I’ve loved every second! Stay tuned for a recap of the year!

The photographer and coordinator relationship can make or break a wedding day. As a coordinator, it’s not my job to micromanage vendors. Instead my goal is to set all vendors up for success to shine in their specific areas and keep communication between them all to make sure the couple has a seamless day! There’s no better feeling that getting to a wedding day realizing you just VIBE! Loved working alongside these ladies!
