One year of The Fankhausers 🤍

Abby and David were such a joy to plan with and I loved looking back through their stunning gallery today to celebrate their anniversary! The stunning fall color palette with the industrial backdrop of Loray Mill made for the perfect October wedding ambience. We played with the rich autumn tones and came up with the perfect day to celebrate their love story. I wish we could do it all over again and again! 🧡

October weddings will forever be a favorite of mine — and this one was no exception. The most beautiful early fall day filled with personal details, lots of “cheers!”, and a packed dance floor to close out the night 🤍

One year ago today, Grace & Jace invited their guests into a celebration that was as meaningful as it was breathtaking. Every detail was intentional, elegant, and completely them—from the sentimental ceremony to the candlelit reception.

Two years ago, The Plannerie was just a daydream. A hopeful idea built on a love for meaningful moments, beautiful design, and the joy of guiding couples through one of the most special seasons of their lives.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of planning weddings that have brought me to tears, clients that have turned into dear friends, and a gained confidence that this path was always meant to be.

To every couple who has trusted me with your day, to every vendor who has shown up with heart and excellence, and to every person who has cheered me on behind the scenes: thank you. You’ve helped shape The Plannerie into something truly special.

Beyond honored to be featured on for one of the most unforgettable weddings I’ve had the joy of planning! Grace & Jace were truly the kind of couple you dream of working with—gracious, thoughtful, and completely in love. If you know me personally, you’ve probably heard me gush about their wedding weekend more than once… and now, I get to share why with the world!

This day was a reminder that even the best-laid plans are no match for the kind of magic that happens when love, hope, and a phenomenal vendor team come together. I’ll never forget the moment the skies cleared, the joy on their faces, and the way everyone rallied to make Grace’s ceremony dreams come true.

This styled shoot celebrated North Carolina’s newest modern venue with an unforgettable design: hanging pink tulips and calla lilies over the dinner table to create a show stopping overhead moment, while cascading white tulips spilled from the bar like art. A dreamy mix of greens, whites and soft pinks wove through every detail.

From bold patterns and dramatic white draping to a self serve wine truck and the most stunning plus size bridal model, this shoot brought the wow in every way. Romantic, intentional, and unforgettable!
