Oh, Minda and Brad, you overcame a bit of a bumpy road to the altar today, but as we kept reminding each other - at the end of the day, you're married, and that is the important part! In spite of some logistical hiccups, it was a beautiful day, the weather cleared for you, and this is the start of a beautiful life together! Thank you for letting me be with you today!

Donuts at your wedding? Absolutely fantastic idea!

Remember my comment a few weeks ago to the effect of if you’re getting married (or having a major celebration) this summer and were thinking you’d like Ruckus Donuts as a part of your special day that our calendar was rapidly filing?

Well, we booked three more just this week. And we’ve already encountered our first date conflict.

To repeat - we only book/accept ONE wedding/large event per calendar day. It’s your special day, and we’re honored to be a small part of it. We focus all of our energy & attention on you for that day, to make it as special as we can.

There are only so many weekends in a summer, and one by one dates are being filled. We even had an awesome dad come in this week & place a deposit on a day just to secure it for his child’s nuptials!

Last year, on a number of occasions, I was the deliverer of sad news to couples who waited until a few weeks prior to inquire about donuts for their wedding. The silent pause on the other end of the phone always breaks my heart, but we had already had a paid commitment to another couple.

So again, if you’re getting married or having a major event/celebration this summer and would like Ruckus Donuts as a small part of your day PLEASE do not wait to contact us!! Send me a message thru social media or our website and let’s not only start talking about what you’d like but more importantly secure your date with a non-refundable deposit.
