Elevate your floral game using these tips for choosing the perfect flowers for your arrangements.
🪻Avoid flowers with petals with dried edges or brown/black spots, broken or bending stems, or leaves that are brown and shedding. These are a good indication the flowers are not fresh.
🪻Gently touch petals and squeeze stems, firm petals and stems mean the flowers are in good condition and will last with proper care.
🪻Choose flowers with unopened buds (unless needed for the same day). Tight buds are a good indicator of freshness. Don’t worry, the flowers will continue to open and bloom, giving you a prolonged vase life.
