When J+H asked me if I’m willing to travel to Virginia to film their wedding, I was like “heck yes!”. Traveling is one of my passions, and it’s even more special when I travel to help capture someone’s special day.

And boy was their wedding a stunner! Held in a historic ballroom in the middle of downtown Richmond, J+H’s wedding was truly an urban dream.

Two months of marriage in the books already for these lovebirds!

It was so much fun putting together this video because I got the chance to include some seriously happy tears and hilariously unique moments. Bloopers and funny moments are actually my favorite pieces to include in videos because honestly, you’ll remember some of those moments the best!

When Kimberly and Genaro's told me they'd like to have couples portrait time at the gym they frequented when they first started dating, I knew their wedding was going to be a fun one. But in-between the gym sesh, first keg tap, and Pokeball ring carrier came a ton precious vows, teary eyes, and heartfelt moments between the newlyweds.

They decided to say their vows privately to each other first (which I highly recommend for a more intimate vibe to your day). I loved being there to capture their beautiful words and pure emotions to each other - something they can watch and relive for years to come. Congratulations to this power(lifting!) couple!

“Today when we come together and say ‘I do’, not even my best dreams will be able to match the happiness that I will soon call my reality.”

Josue and Jessica’s wedding was truly one that seemed less like reality and more like a fairytale. Their reception was adorned with floral arrangements for DAYS and included an ice sculpture, cigar room, mariachi band, AND pyrotechnics on the dancefloor!

Not only was their beautiful day a celebration of their love for one another, it was also a celebration of two families becoming one. All the members of Josue’s family took a moment to dance with Jessica and welcome her into the family. I loved how unique and meaningful that moment was.

But my favorite moment was definitely the couple’s choreographed grand entrance performance with their wedding party. You could tell that they wanted to share this special moment in their lives by incorporating their loved ones. And most importantly, you could tell they wanted everyone to celebrate them by just having fun!

I had a blast filming their special day and hope this film will remind them of their amazing dance moves throughout the years. Congratulations to the happy couple!

"I wasn’t even saying anything yet. And then she started crying and then I started crying…”

Had the pleasure of shooting another beautiful , this time as part of a birthday trip in the stunning Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Kimberly wanted her words to Chrissy to stay just between them, but she also wanted to capture this moment that’s been a decade in the making. So I decided to tell their proposal story with their own words as they broke the big news to their friends. I loved capturing the contrast between the emotional proposal and the couple's fun, unique personalities while celebrating.

Thank you, Kimberly and Chrissy, for letting me capture such an intimate and exciting moment and congratulations on your engagement!

"I knew I told you I loved you within a month of seeing you again. And it sounded ridiculous then. But as I repeat those words today, I mean for always."

After being in each other's lives for years, Josue realized that he couldn't picture the rest of his life without Jessica by his side. He surprised her with a tear-jerking proposal at her favorite childhood park at sunset. My favorite part of this shoot was hearing Jessica's heartbeats get louder and louder as Josue gave his speech. I immediately knew that I had to incorporate that into their film!

Congratulations to my friends Jessica and Josue for getting engaged! Can't wait to film you guys' beautiful wedding!

"I promise to support you, to honor you, and to love you unconditionally. Even when we may disagree on something. Like when you choose to play Call of Duty instead of helping me fold laundry!"

I remember from the moment I met Isabelle and Justin, I could tell that they had a deep love for each other that was based on the same sense of humor. I knew I'd capture a lot of laughs and fun throughout the day (although the T-Rex costume was unexpected to say the least!). But what I loved most about the wedding was their beautifully touching and down-to-earth vows. There wasn't a dry eye in the house - caused by emotional vows AND laughing too hard!

I'm so happy I got to film their special day so they can relive it for the rest of their lives. Cheers to the Hongs!

In the literal sense, to "fall" means "a sudden, uncontrollable descent". And to me, every fall season felt that way. Until a very special person gave me some advice that would change my perspective on fall (and life) forever.

I made this piece as a way for me to accept the changing of the seasons. I had a lot of fun just stopping to smell the pumpkin spice and capture all the little things in life that might've been overlooked normally otherwise.

A few months ago, I had the privilege of shooting Danny and Lubna's wedding...all the way out in Omaha, Nebraska! The ceremony was held at the most incredible church - complete with stained glass windows - on their alma mater's campus. It made it extra special to them since that was where they met over six years ago during their undergrad studies.

There were so many highlights to the day including riding around Omaha in a party trolley (aptly named Ollie because of course it is) with the couple and their wedding party. They had a blast celebrating even before they arrived at their rustic barn reception later that evening.

But the main highlight of the day for me was seeing Danny's tearful reaction to Lubna's walk down the aisle. I could see the swell of emotions going through the both of them as they saw each other for the first time that day - and it was perfection. I'm sure they'll never forget the looks on each others faces, but I'm so glad I was able to capture that moment for them in case they ever wanted to relive the moment and tear up all over again!

Congrats to the lovely Mr. and Mrs. Diaz!
