Come watch the students of the MCHS Performing Arts Program gloss over and butcher 5,000 years of theater history in dramatic fashion. From a hip-hop retelling of A Christmas Carol to Romeo and Juliet: A Puppet show, there is bound to be something that both amuses and confuses you!

Hayden Freeman (Role: Assistant Director)

Freeman’s a senior this year at Maranacook and is very excited for his last show! You may have seen him in some previous shows at Maranacook such as the drunk barricade boy, Colonel Himbo, and a Wee Prince! If you don’t find Hayden on the stage he’s often untying peoples shoes, drinking red bull, driving his jrs around, or hiding in the music room booth. Josie Charland - Production Team: Assistant Director

Josie Charland is a Senior (omg) at Maranacook this year, she's participated in theatre at Maranacook for as long as she could; from organizing costumes and props to actually being in the productions, Josie's always made sure that she was a part of the process. Melanie Chalmers - Production Team: Assistant Director

Melanie is a junior and this will be her sixth production here at Maranacook. She has been the costume director for Annie Jr., The Little Mermaid, Once Upon a Mattress, Clue, and Les Mis. After doing costumes for so long she decided to switch it up and be one of the assistant directors for this production. Cassidy McCormack is a Senior at Maranacook this year. She has been a member of the theater department since middle school and has really enjoyed her time with these lovely people. In her free time, she enjoys music and playing tennis. In past shows, she has played a fish, pregnant lady, husband murderer, and pr******te. Josie Walker (Roles: Josie, Extra, Meg, Ghost)

Josie Walker is a Senior at you guessed it, Maranacook. Over the past four years she has done not much, but one thing she has done was discover her passion for musical theater. She's starting this off with that so she can thank every one of you for supporting her theater journey. Specifically her dad for giving her countless rides and her mom for the enthusiasm for everything she does. I love you. Also a big thank you to Cassidy, Abby, Mila, Hannah, Hayden, Josie, Jordan, Emily, Trysten, Amelia, Noah, Maisie, and Dan. Christian Dunlap is a Senior at Maranacook this year who will be playing the roles of the 1st Narrator, Marlowe, Male Beth, and himself of course. He has been in several Maranacook productions such as 99 Minutes, The Little Mermaid, Once Upon a Mattress, Clue, and Les Misérables. Mila Barnes-Bukher is so excited to be back onstage for her final performance at Maranacook. Some of her previous roles include Chef Louis in the Little Mermaid, King Sextimus in Once Upon a Mattress, and Mr. Boddy/Wadsworth understudy in Clue. Meet the Cast/Crew!

Chianna Morrison (Roles: Pandora, David Copperfield, Plant 2, Nurse)

This is Chianna's last show at Maranacook Community Highschool. In the past 4 years she has been in 3 shows The Little Mermaid, Once Upon a Mattress, and Les Mis. this will be the first play she will be in. In middle school she was in Annie Jr. and in elementary she was in a class production of Pandoras Box. Of all these different productions, she has never felt more included and loved by her fellow High school cast members. Many of her mentors left last year for college leaving her and many others to take their place and soon she will also have to leave. Chianna could not be more happy knowing she found a small family in these few shows she was in. She thanks everyone for accepting her, guiding her, and helping her along the way. Nico Martinez Nocito (Roles: Hamlet, Male Thespian, Male Jo)

To be or not to be an actor in a high school theater production? Well, Nico Martinez Nocito has been choosing ‘to be’ since they ended up in Once Upon A Mattress sophomore year…and you’ll get why that pun is funny once you see them in scene 4. You may remember them as ‘that guy in red in Les Mis who had way too much fun leading a revolution’ or a creepy, potentially murderous professor from Clue. In their negligible free time, they can be found dreaming about fantasy worlds, gradually improving their trombone skills, and reminding people to say ‘fewer’ instead of ‘less’. Brayden Bachelder (Roles: Romeo, Scrooge, Male Meg, William Shakespeare)

Brayden is a Junior at Maranacook High-school. He has been in theatre since his sophomore year starting as stage-crew for Once Upon a Mattress. His second role was understudy Colonel Mustard where he learned many lessons and found his place in the theatre program. His third role was Thenardier in Les Miserables which showcased his ability to be funny in any situation. This show has brought him a great challenge of multiple roles with multiple personalities. Madeleine German - House Manager (Production Team) (Roles: Announcer, Male Lead, Male Amy, Rabbi)

Madeleine German has been in Maranacook's previous productions as a W***h in Once Upon a Mattress, Hank Cuffs and Mrs. Peacock for dual Productions of Clue, and a plethora roles (The Bishop, Joly, and The Pimp) in Les Mis. She has had Plenty of time to perfect her act as the token filler man of every Maranacook show. This is Emma's 5th show with MCHS, having previously taken part in The Little Mermaid, Once Upon a Mattress, Clue: On Stage!, and Les Miserables. Emma's job is to make sure that you can see the actors, along with doing whatever else comes up. Noah is excited to be a part of the production of “Just Another High School Play” here at Maranacook Community High School. For his third play in high school, he is very excited to be Co-Stage Manager and Crew Lead.
