Due to the wind storm that will be whipping through Maine this afternoon/evening, this evenings MCHS Choral Concert is being postponed to Tuesday, December 17th @ 6:30PM.

This program will be help along with the instrumental concert, making it a jam packed evening of music and celebration of the holiday season!

The school year has been off to a wild and frantic start, with a lot of great things happening! One not so great thing though is that we are currently down a Music Teacher in RSU38.

While this position is listed as a 0.6 Position (3 Days a week), we ultimately are looking to hire someone Full Time if the opportunity presents itself.

We are a small, yet mighty Music Program in a small, yet mighty district; In order to continue growing and developing our program, we need a full staff! Any sharing far and wide of this position would be incredibly welcome!

Hayden Freeman (Role: Assistant Director)

Freeman’s a senior this year at Maranacook and is very excited for his last show! You may have seen him in some previous shows at Maranacook such as the drunk barricade boy, Colonel Himbo, and a Wee Prince! If you don’t find Hayden on the stage he’s often untying peoples shoes, drinking red bull, driving his jrs around, or hiding in the music room booth. Josie Charland - Production Team: Assistant Director

Josie Charland is a Senior (omg) at Maranacook this year, she's participated in theatre at Maranacook for as long as she could; from organizing costumes and props to actually being in the productions, Josie's always made sure that she was a part of the process. Melanie Chalmers - Production Team: Assistant Director

Melanie is a junior and this will be her sixth production here at Maranacook. She has been the costume director for Annie Jr., The Little Mermaid, Once Upon a Mattress, Clue, and Les Mis. After doing costumes for so long she decided to switch it up and be one of the assistant directors for this production.
