Back in Black….
Don’t be afraid to go outside the normal songs for your wedding day. I have yet to hear a song that can’t be put into an acoustic version and sound amazing. Bonus… the guys always love it, the guests are trying to figure out which song it is, the grandparents think it’s a beautiful song (without knowing the lyrics 😛) and you get the day how you want it 😎 everyone wins. Find me a song that would challenge this theory and post it in the comments… I’m feeling frisky today. #weddingplanning #weddingplanning #weddingsong #backinblack #thegroom #pensacolaweddingplanner
Best Guest Book hack to save time and money but still have a beautiful guest book…
Shutterfly is a goldmine when it co
We to this. Other places will charge a ton for a photo book. They’re beautiful, but not everyone has the budget for that.
For this look,
Simply upload your engagement photos (or photos from throughout your relationship) and then place them into a photo book. They have tons of options, like cover types, flat lay pages, etc To keep costs down, but still have a beautiful Guest Book, I went with:
-8x11
-hard cover
-standard binding
-matte finish
-added a few extra pages
It ended up being about $60 with a discount because of the add ons. But you can definitely get it lower than that. Shutterfly almost always has discounts or coupons, so be on the look out for that!
One of the best parts was that it was delivered in about FIVE DAYS after I ordered it! If you’re on a time crunch this is a serious win win.
I love that it’s personalized and your guests will love seeing the pictures of the two of you. It’s nice to show off the engagement pictures you took, and it’s easily displayed as a coffee table book after the wedding, or stored away for safe keeping if you’d rather.

Mother in Law issues? Here’s how to keep calm and continue planning…
1. *SMILE* somehow she raised your amazing fiancé… so hopefully you will see some good at some point, maybe weddings stress her out? 🤷🏼♀️ (speaking of your fiancé talk to them about your concerns and ask for any help, guidance or even interference they and give you)
2. GIVE them something to do. Typically this is the rehearsal dinner, and maybe they need or want help with it, try to include them in some of the wedding prep (as much as you or they feel comfortable with). This can also keep them busy/occupied and away from you on the wedding day- like greeting guests as they arrive (you will be tucked away at that point)
3. CONFIDE in one or two close friends, your maid of honor or mom are the typical ones, that way someone else who knows you well can alleviate some of the tension if/when needed. Or just be an ear to listen without blabbing the issues all over town.
Decision making 101… promise this will help ✨ bonus tip… it also works for deciding where to go to dinner 😜
