It’s hard to believe that we’ve already been on this amazing journey for two years! I am constantly filled with gratitude for the wonderful people we continue to work for and work with. It feels so ordinary to say that we could not have done this without you, but we couldn’t have. Please know that I never take for granted your business, your referrals and your reviews. Thank you for letting us continue to be part of your events and your memories.

As a business owner I’m contacted often for advertising opportunities. And as a small business owner, there’s not a lot in the budget for that. So when a writer for the Queen Creek Tribune contacted me to see if I would be interested in an interview to showcase our business without it being paid advertising, I was honored and thrilled all at the same time! When the article was published this week, I was a little speechless. For those who know me, that doesn’t happen very often. It took me a moment to come up with words that hopefully adequately expressed my appreciation. Thank you never seems enough. Year #3, we are excited and ready for you!

Thanks to my clients who have written wonderful reviews for Sunflower Trailers or have reached out to me by email to let me know how much they appreciated the service we provided! Reviews are so important to all businesses, but especially to small businesses like mine. Potential clients are looking for vendors who have a proven reputation of providing the best service and often look to reviews for that feedback. Did you know that you don’t have to be the person who hired a vendor to leave them a review? Reviews can be written by guests, too! So I’m reaching out to clients and guests that we have had the pleasure of celebrating with to ask you to take a few minutes to write a brief review of your experience with us. I’ll provide a link to our review portal on The Knot website in the comments. You can also find our profile on Google and Yelp. Thank you so very much!!

As part of our photo booth package, clients receive a digital file with a copy of every photo taken at their event. I also put together a video of selected photos to a song of my client’s choice. I’ll send them the video via an unlisted link on my YouTube channel to share with whomever they’d like, or to keep as a memory just for themselves. Only those with the link can view it. I’ll usually check the video view count to make sure that my client received it, and that my email didn’t go to their spam folder because of the links. The number of views on this video in such a short time made me smile. 🥰

What a fun and busy day for the Candid Sunflower photo booth at the 4th of July celebrations. Starting with a parade and water fun in the morning and fireworks, food trucks and music in the evening. 99 photo booth sessions over 6 hours. On average, a session every 3.5 minutes! 📸🌻🇺🇸

Pete and I have spent quite a bit of time apart the past year with his work travel and the blessings of a growing event services business that I’m working during the weekends. He’s done a lot of physical labor to get this dream of mine up and running, but communication has always been key. I couldn’t ask for a better wingman!

There’s always an agreement between us when we purchase a trailer, but one of us usually needs a little persuasion. 😉

Happy 8th Anniversary to my husband and Sunflower Trailers partner, Pete! I wouldn’t have this fun business without his construction craftsmanship in creating and maintaining the trailers, his assistance at events and his support in many ways when I left my corporate job to follow this dream. When my clients book the photo booth, I create a video that includes selected pictures from each photo session to a song of their choice, similar to the video in this post. If my client is having difficulties deciding on a song, I suggest that they use something upbeat. Sometimes they will ask for me to pick the song, and I’m happy to do that, too. One of the brides recently selected the the song “Made” which is about soulmates not just being found but created through hard work. I wasn’t sure that a song that was more serious in nature would work well, but it turned out amazing and my client loved it! Finding a partner mid life like this client and I did can be a difficult process. Previous relationship experiences can muddle the path, which made me wonder if I’d get married again. Through lots of patience on Pete’s part, I was able to, and continue to be willing to put forth the efforts that have created our soulmate partnership. Pete is truly the love of my life.❤️
