I am back home from the trip of a lifetime to Destiny Garden School in Kenya 🇰🇪
This is a charity my family have supported for years, and seeing first hand the impact that their work has on children and families in the area was so inspiring yet so unfortunate that education isn’t accessible to all there.
The school provide exceptional education with amazing, supportive teachers, and nutritious meals to each child, which may be all they get to eat that day.
They need sponsors and donations to provide this service and allow more children an education, giving them an opportunity to change the lives of themselves and their families.
If you can sponsor or donate, or want to learn more you can on their website here - https://www.destinygardenschool.website/
Many of you without maybe even knowing actually made this trip possible for me, as much of my fundraising was done through face painting parties and events 🎨
So thank you to all of those who supported me through that period making it possible, I can’t put into words just how special the experience was and how grateful I am.
Below are some pictures from just one of the 7 days we spent at the school, where I spent the morning painting these very happy faces!
The rest of the days were spent singing, dancing, learning and playing ❤️
Now, back to a very busy summer with both face painting and Moray School Bank, + a start to fundraising to go back! ✈️
And… preparing for uni! I’m off to study community development at the University of Glasgow in September, so won’t be taking bookings for Moray after August unfortunately! 📚
However, I’m very excited to get to go and learn all about what I love doing, exactly this! Working with communities making positive change 🌎
Thanks again! 😊
