Juneteenth is now a national holiday, and instead of focusing on the way the holiday has been appropriated we’ve decided to celebrate the various aspects of what freedom means to us as a people.

Our culture is embedded into the fabric of this nation, and as people of the African Diaspora it’s also embedded globally.

We’re summing that up into four categories:
Joy
Resistance
Resilience
Culture (Food, music, etc.)

$2,500.00 REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE MURDER OF JODY LORING

Tuesday, May 24, 2022, was the 4-year-anniversary of the murder of 18-year-old, Jody Loring.

On May 24, 2018, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Conway Police Department received a call regarding shots fired in the 1700 block of Donaghey Ave. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male in the driver’s seat of a vehicle later identified as Jody Loring. Loring had been shot to death.

The Conway Police Department is still actively investigating this case. We are doing our utmost to seek answers and to provide justice to the family of Loring.

In an effort to bring new light to this investigation, the Conway Police Department is asking the public for their assistance. We have also reached out to other agencies for their help, within the state of Arkansas as well as outside, and we just want people to know that no information or tip is too small.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact our Criminal Investigations Division at (501) 450-6130 and reference Incident 18-05747. You may remain anonymous.

If your information should lead to an arrest and conviction, you are eligible to receive a $2,500.00 reward. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
