How to Sell Anything, to Anyone, at Anytime with the 4 ps of Persuasion

1. Start with a promise, what exactly are you going to do for them. This statement will bring curiousity, skepticism, intrigue, and fit into their desires. Hook them and give them something good.

2. Paint them a picture. First get their information, the data, then lead with your story. See when I first started I had no idea what I was doing, I was trying a bunch of things and it was working. I saved up some money, sold things I had but didn’t need to learn from someone with experience. I ended up spending around $20,000 in a spans of a few months to hire mentors to learn how to sell online and start an online business. When it finally clicked I started making around $10k a month. What if I was committed to teaching you everything I know so that you can start getting results without having to go through what I did.

3. Show proof. At this point in the conversation it’s important to provide some information that proves that you will be able to deliver on the results you’ve promised.

4. Pitch. There’s so many ways to go about this, right now I’ll bring up one key I’ve learned. Too many options leaves someone with analysis paralysis. Give one option, one price, they either take it or leave it. With this strategy you can close high ticket offers as high as 50% close rates.

7 keys to set the appointment immediately with ANY prospect in sales

1. Don't just set an appointment with anyone...
See here's the thing, great salespeople don't just set an appointment with anyone. Identify first that you're talking to the right person. The key decision-maker, someone who has the ability to pay you for what you do.

2. Disqualify the rabble during discovery...
We can't always know if someone is qualified during a phone call unless we actively ask them questions to understand whether they're the right person. Do they understand the cost of the challenges they have? What types of problems are they having? This is going to also show your professionalism.

3. Be a doctor...
Always behave like a doctor, not a salesperson. Fully diagnosis the problem before offering a potential solution. This will take asking questions that go deeper into the issues.

4. Understand the upside...
They have to feel like there is going to be value in meeting with you. Help them see the value in potentially working with the company you work for. What's more valuable than trying to tell them what the upside would be? What's more impactful is asking them what would change if this was resolved. For example" with an additional 10 people walking through your doors per month what would that do for your sales. Do you feel that would make your life better?" When booking, following value add, try this Example "Would it make sense to you for us to set up another appointment for you to connect with our lead A strategist at XYZ to discuss potentially working together."
- Pain avoidance or potential gain
- Remember lose is stronger than gain

5. Can I make a recommendation..?
So incredibly powerful when it comes to transitioning into booking the appointment. You get the yes, and say "Why don't we scheduled an appointment, we can get together face to face, it'd take about 45 mins, and we can dig into some of the issues a little more deeply, and I can share with you some best practices on how we might go about solving those challenges.

6. Always make sure there is a clear next step. All throughout the call but especially at the beginning and the end. Even if they say why don’t you give me a call in a month, ask them if they have their calendar in front of them and if we could get it on the calendar so that we both don’t have to do all the back and forth and miss each other.

If you’re getting together make sure they are in the calendar.

7. Have a contingency for when they push back. You know what Name I really appreciate you saying this. But having done this for a long time, what I’ve found is that most people just want a nice way of saying they’re just not interested. Is that the case? It’s hard to say but at this point you’ve got nothing to lose. If they’re really busy for now and you can get them to schedule a follow-up with you on a specific date.
