Mongol 100 update ❄️ Another marathon distance on the ice and snow complete 🙌

The participants have arrived at the third and final wilderness camp on the shore of the lake, amidst the ancient boreal forest which envelops the whole world at this latitude.

Legs are really starting to feel it now, but with just 40km to go spirits are high and the group are ready and raring to smash out that final day!

After being totally off-grid for nearly 72 hours, the crew caught a snippet of 4G and managed to get a couple of clips over to us, including a sneak peek into last nights camp. Check it out in our next post 👆

Mongol 100 update: Day 2 on the ice ❄️

Today was a straight shoot to the island in the middle of the lake, where the team is spending the night in traditional tipis pitched on the ice, with the lake bed visible beneath the wood burner that take pride of place in the middle of each tent. A slightly shorter day but the going was tough given some wind and general chill.

A hearty reindeer feast awaits on the island, famous locally for its spiritual significance in the Shamanistic culture that typifies this area of far north-western Mongolia.

This time next month our first ever Panama Coast to Coast will be arriving in Panama City ready and raring to take on the biggest challenge of their lives.

A lot of preparation has gone into their journey - training, kit, jungle skills, not to mention mental prep. We can't wait to help them achieve their goal, with a full crossing of Panama from David all the way to where the Rio Chinguinola meets the Caribbean Sea. After conquering primary jungle terrain, packrafting and hammock nights, the finish line in Bocas Del Toro paradise is going to an awesome sight

Our began this morning with 45 miles in the saddle before ditching the bikes and taking to the Hudson River itself for a stunning 21 mile paddle downriver through the Hudson Highlands finishing up at Cold Springs!
