‼️ PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST (DSLR CATEGORY)
‼️ CONTEST THEME: "TANDAG CITY TOURIST DESTINATIONS"
MECHANICS, GUIDELINES, CRITERIA and PRIZES
Eligibility
✅ The contest is open to all Tandaganon's photography enthusiasts only
✅ Employees of City Government of Tandag, including their relatives up to the second degree of affinity or consanguinity, are NOT qualified to join the contest.
PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS:
✅ The theme for this year`s photo contest is “ TANDAG CITY TOURIST DESTINATIONS (EXISTING AND POTENTIAL)
✅ Each contestant must submit only one (1) photo entry.
✅ Entry must be the contestant`s original work.
✅ Only photos taken by digital cameras are allowed. A single “High Dynamic Range” photo produced from the multiple exposure and Black and White Photos are acceptable. Photos taken by film camera, fisheye lens, and stiched panoramas are not eligible. Post processing of the image is limited to cropping and color enhancements, including shadows and highlights only.
✅ Photo manipulation is not allowed.
✅ Entries should include the photo`s metadata (ISO, Aperture Value, and Shutter Speed).
✅ Photo must be in JPEG format with at least 300 dpi and a maximum file size of 10 MB.
✅ Photo must not contain any copyrighted material including artworks and other photos.
✅ Entry must not contain date stamps, watermarks or any text on the image.
✅ Entry must not have been awarded in any other photo contests and/or commercially publised whether for news, advertising or otherwise.
✅ Contestants must agree and comply with the Official Rules
✅ Submission of entry starts: August 25, 2022 (8:00am)
✅ Deadline of Submission: September 1, 2022 (5:00pm)
✅ Schedule of Judging and Deliberation : September 5, 2022
✅ Announcement of Winners & awarding : September 5, 2022
Submission of Photos
✅ To join, contestants must register and submit their entry online by filling out the Photo Contest 2022 Online Entry Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pMYCIrhpOIJla1itGBVUk9nqvNq3-wWBQiypSi7yiHo
✅ Filename of the photo must be in the format “SURNAME_PHOTO TITLE”.
✅ Contestants will be required to provide the following information upon submission of entry:

➡️ Date of Birth
➡️ Mailing Address
➡️ Mobile Number
➡️ E-mail Address
➡️ Photo Title
➡️ Photo Caption: (1-2 sentences explaining/describing the photograph and its relevance to the theme)
➡️ Date when the photo was captured: (month,year)
➡️ Location where the photo was captured: (ex: Toril Rock Formation, Pandanon, Tandag City)
➡️ Camera Used
➡️ Photo Metadata: (ISO, Aperture Value, Shutter Speed)
✅ Entries should be submitted through the online entry form. Entries submitted through other means will not be accepted and will be automatically disqualified.
Submission begins at 8:00am on August 27, 2022 and ends at 5:00pm on September 1, 2022.
Entries submitted beyond the deadline shall not be accepted.
✅ Announcement of Winners & Awarding will be on September 5, 2022.
✅ All submitted entry will automatically become property of City Government of Tandag.
✅ ENTRIES WILL BE DISPLAYED DURING THE PHOTO EXHIBIT AT GAISANO ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2022.

40% - Content and Relevance to the theme.
30% - Artistic Value and Communication Potential of the Image
30% - Technical Excellence and Quality
Total - 100%
