I did a nutbush-off last night at Tannum Sands Hotel Motel with a shot going to the best 2....was amazing to see the amount of people that jumped up....we ended up with 3 winners as we couldn't leave out the one doing the whole dance while balancing a drink on her head. Appreciate the amazing staff Nic and Katie helping me judge, especially when Nic came in during his dinner break.

It's has been bought to my attention a few times recently that it isn't reasonable for me to run my business the way I do. To charge full price and not give "mates rates" when I am booked by friends or family. I, as a small business owner, am expected to offer "mates rates" yet my mates aren't meant to be expected to pay the same price as everyone to support my small business. Understand that I am running a business when I provide my services for bookings and just like every business, it is there to make money. If you require a service from a friend that is a small business owner, support their business, don't just book them to get a discount. I have given discounts previously but these are given at my discretion as the owner of the business, I am the one providing my time and my equipment all at my risk. I am covering the costs off the insurance, the purchase of the gear, the time and the effort, among other things. Running a business isn't free.
