This post is for the girlies that don’t know what tasks are included with being a maid of honor!🫶🏼

To be real, there is a long list of what a maid of honor should do, so we picked the most important ones for you to focus on! 😉

1. Go wedding dress shopping
2. Offer help if the bride wants to DIY decorations for the wedding
3. Plan and host the bridal shower
4. Keep in touch with bridesmaids to keep everyone on the same page
5. Plan a fun bachelorette weekend
6. Be there emotionally for the bride
7. Keep a positive attitude throughout the whole planning period and especial the day of
8. Take the brides bouquet when she reaches the altar
9. Hand off both your bouquet and the brides to the bridesmaid behind you so you can fix the brides dress
10. Last but not least the bride deals with a lot when it comes to getting married so organize a sweet personal gift from you and the bridesmaids!

If there’s ever a reason to splurge on a new pair of shoes, your wedding day is definitely it! 🤍 Once you’ve found the perfect pair to compliment your dress make sure you scuff the bottom of your shoes. Simply take a piece of sandpaper and lightly rub the bottom to create some traction. This will prevent you from slipping on the new leather soles! 🙌🏼

After you take a minute to celebrate the moment and share about it with your family and friends, we recommend starting your vendor search. Whether your wedding is 4 months or 14 months away, this is important! Even if you haven’t made specific decisions yet, it’s important to pick out the vendors who are most important to you and get on their schedule quick. (Especially if you are planning a fall wedding!) Vendors book far in advance and you don’t want to risk missing out on your number one choices.

Picking vendors can get overwhelming! Between venue, rentals, catering, florals, photographer, the list seems never ending. Planning the perfect proposal can be a nerve wracking task. Between trying to keep it a secret, make sure every last detail is covered, and the nerves, sometimes you just need to call in a little help! We are just the girls for the job 😉

Zaya helped plan this breathtaking proposal at . Their team was amazing to work with and accommodated every last wish. From the romantic dinner with a custom menu to the celebration champagne and desserts following the big moment, it was everything we dreamed of.
Not to mention the gorgeous bouquet done by 🥹
