Let’s talk; Expectation vs. Reality of white florals.
All white bouquets are definitely a staple when it comes to bridal bouquet selections. They are always gorgeous, but, all white bouquets are also the most complicated when it comes to pressing and preserving.
During the preservation process white florals almost always turn a vintage white hue, and often brown or yellow and display the most bruising and imperfections; especially certain types of white flowers like roses and lisianthus. Its important to understand how white florals will change during preservation so that you don’t have unrealistic expectations for your final pressed bouquet. If you’re wanting a pressed piece that is bright and has pops of colour, an all white bouquet is not going to represent that. Your final piece depends greatly on the selection of florals and greenery in your fresh bouquet and it’s crucial to remember those considerations when planning your bridal florals.
