Instalment number 2. We sat down with B-Line had a great chat about his life and music career,read below ⬇️

“How did you get into music, and what were you doing before that?”

I got into music through bassline music. I always loved bassline and made tunes consistently from a young age until I heard the likes of Tyke Sub Zero and mc’s like Bassman . I loved the tempo of drum and bass and the variation in all the different sub genres and decided that I wanted to give it a go myself.

“How long have you been an MC? And can you tell us one of your highlights”

I have been an Mc for just over 2 years on drum and bass, and 3 on bassline. A few highlights of my career include selling out my own birthday bash the past few years and playing at some clubs that I dreamed off as a raver. Lakota, The Mill and XOYO to name a few

“Have you had any releases? And what is your plan for 2023?”

My biggest and possibly favourite release has to be ‘Offset’ from Posks Letting It Off EP that s**t was crazy, the feedback and support was just mad. I have huge plans for 23’ possibly my biggest yet but all will be revealed🙃

We sat down with B-don and had a chat, top guy and a great insight to his life and music career, read below ⬇️

How did you get in to music and what were you doing before that?”

Before I took the Mic I was actually a photographer, I started something called Vibrant Minds UK and I was shooting everything & anything in the drum n bass scene, DJ’s, MC’s, ravers. I was there shooting sick pictures n what not..

I had quite a lot of big plans tbf but lockdown happened and the pandemic just changed everythingggg… I remember thinking like “ahhh s**t like now what”, no events mean nothing to shoot and I’m one that needs to be creating, as creativity keeps me sane and present; although the photography came to an end it was the start of something new… pretty quick.

I remember having this mix on by Bredren during lockdown shortly after the photography came to an end. I wrote my first verse by pen & paper that I actually rated and that was it. I was writing every single night of lockdown and I mean, every single night…

I remember sending stuff to a mate who’s part of DROPJAW AUDIO and I received good feedback which then lead to my first booking. I wasn’t even nervous I’d practised that much, considering it was the first time performing, it couldn’t of really gone any better and that was it, been locked in ever since, from writing to performing, I love every aspect of it.

“How long have you been an MC for and can you tell us one of your highlights?”

It’s been 14 months since my first performance so just over a year..

It’s mad cos I remember taking photos of A.M.C & Phantom and being really gassed up cos I’m a big fan of them both and since then I’ve actually performed right after A.M.C and Phantom at a Hit and Run UK event at Hidden Club in Manchester. Phantom himself passed the Mic lead so that was defiantly a sick highlight for myself.

B-Don will holding down the mic duties on the 18th alongside DJ SRB and Luce you want to watch out for this guy in 2023 🔥
