Of everything there is to invest in a wedding, invest in a day of coordinator like Laura Bird. I could not imagine the best day of my life without her. Wedding planning can be hard work, tiring, isolating and scary. And I was doing most of it on my own but I knew on the day of my wedding, I wanted to turn over everything in brain to someone who understood my needs and was centered on what I wanted. That is Laura. She came highly recommended by a friend of mine so I had to meet her. Our initial consultation was virtual and I'm all about energy and I could feel that Laura truly loves weddings and helping people make their wedding day a seamless reality. We exchanged lots of texts in the month leading up to my big day. She helped me sort through decisions and made me thinks of things I hadn't thought of. We met in person and she was not only professional and direct about streamlining the timeline but she was caring and so kind in asking how I'm feeling through this process. She ensured me that I was in good hands and if I needed anything, even a 2am text to her was completely welcomed by her. On the day of my wedding Laura assisted in set up at the reception and then came to me at the wedding chapel. She called and asked if I had eaten and if I wanted her to get me something. She was in control of everything and I was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding. I have learned that there will always be small adjustments and decisions to be made on the wedding day. Laura was calm and was always centered on me and Joe and what we needed. She stayed present and close by for anything we wanted or needed. She helped our timeline go by smoothly, worked with all of our vendors, helped with clean up and breakdown. I would hire her again and again. Laura is the best day of wedding coordinator and even better, she's a friend.
