January 11 is our first Second Saturday Dansville event of the new year!

Stop at these snowmen hosts to pick up a scavenger hunt form and get started finding all of the decorated snowmen. Most of all, have fun!

Completed scavenger hunt forms should be returned to Dogwood Trading Company, Tony's Pizzeria or Dansville Public Library by January 31. Six prizes will be awarded to three adults and three children with the most accurate snowmen descriptions. One prize per family. Winners will be notified by February 7.

This program is organized by the Dansville Chamber Events Committee.

Second Saturday Dansville events resume January 11!

The full schedule is listed on our 2025 Discover Dansville rack cards. Look for one with your water/sewer bill, or if you're a Chamber member, rack cards are included in your membership renewal. Many local businesses also have rack cards available for the public.

It's time for snowman hosts to register for Do You Want to Find a Snowman? -- our popular snowman scavenger hunt that runs Second Saturday January 11 through Friday, January 31, 2025.

There will be no outdoor vendors at Second Saturdays until April 2025.

Happening TODAY! Our last Second Saturday Dansville event of the year has us partnering with C.A.N.N. for greatly needed donations of NEW men's and women's undergarments. Totes will be available at the following locations November 9 - December 16 for these donations: Dansville YMCA, Dansville Public Library, Dogwood Trading Company, and Tony's Pizzeria.

Howard Hanna Real Estate Services Dansville Office will be accepting nonperishable food items on Saturday, November 9, 11am-2pm.

Mill Creek Optical will be accepting new and gently used towels throughout November. On Saturday, November 9, Mill Creek partners with MacFadden Coffee Co. Drop off a towel donation in the Mill Creek bin and get ONE FREE stamp on your MacFadden's loyalty card. 10am-1pm only.

*Dansville Public Library - card making craft for Veteran's outreach
*Tony's Pizzeria - free kids' coloring sheet

Celebrating the theme Simple Abundance, we launch our partnership with C.A.N.N. (Community Answers Needs Network) at this event. Greatly needed are men's and women's undergarments, and local businesses will serve as collection sites starting November 9. Specific locations and more info to follow.

The Dansville Chamber of Commerce Marketing and Promotions committee created the โ€œFirst Fridayโ€ events to take place the 1st Friday of each month, to encourage people to come together and enjoy our beautiful downtown area. Businesses and local vendors are invited to host crafts, special sales, unique goods, promotions, and entertainment for the community.
