wondering if anyone maybe able to help ?
quite a few years back , i did a window display in my shop - Hannah's Music, with a life size statue of Elvis !
After he was taken out of my window , I had nowhere to store him , so I sold him (sadly)
Now we have the 'Everything Elvis' day planned for June , would really like to ask the guy who bought him, if we could lend him for the day ...... only problem is, I'm blowed if I can remember the guys name I sold him too !!
Remember him well , but putting the name to a face is a problem !!
If you read this post, or anyone knows the guy who has a life size Elvis in their garden, please can you ask him to get in touch !

More news on 'EVERYTHING ELVIS' Chepstow- Sunday June 16th !
Delighted to announce 'THE ELVIS GOSPEL SHOW' at St Mary's Church, bought to Chepstow direct from The Porthcawl Elvis Festival !
What a weekend this is going to be , as we welcome the fabulous Gospel Show by hosting an 'Everything Elvis' family fun day .
We are looking for people to get involved as we bring :
Face Painting
Best Dressed Priscilla
Junior Elvis
Elvis Art Competition for local schools
Elvis themed Park Run
Chepstow Does Elvis (local musicians/bands ( heavy metal plays Elvis et)c
Elvis street buskers .
And of course - Best Dressed Houndog ! ( dress your dog up the Elvis way !) Plus much more !
plus 'Elvis Carnival floats'
Contacted today by Barry King Bazza Watson who has agreed to take on the 'Elvis Park Run' which is fabulous news ! so if you would like to get involved in the run , please contact Barry direct !
Also appealing to anyone who could help out with any of the above to please get in touch !
So come on guys , get involved , lets show Porthcawl what we can do !

Howdy folks !
Time is nearly upon us to all join together for the fantastic' RESCHEDULED EVENT at Riverside Bandstand we originally had planned for all you lovely people in May !
Unfortunately due to bad weather we sadly had to postpone the celebration for the Kings Coronation, so we have decided to celebrate the Kings Birthday instead !!
We have tried to bring you all the things we originally had planned , for a fun filled day of non stop music ,and entertainment for all the family to enjoy !
*Music all day by some of our fantastic local bands :
'HEAVY RAIN BAND', 'HICKORY STICK BOYS', 'SNOT SHOULDER', 'STEEL WEASELS','VELVET MAN GOD'.'THE WAVES'. 'LEWIS LEIGHTON', 'HOLLY & PAUL'. & 'THE SHAUNESSY BROTHERS'.
We have Hot Dogs , Burgers, Chips etc , plus 'Jacket Potatoes ', (you will be able to have your photo taken by the famous riverside JACKET POTATOE ,whist eating your own with a yummy filling on top!)
*Children's music corner: to include A sharing drum, floor-piano, percussion etc
*Bouncy Castle
*Crown making
*Modern Samuria Martial Arts Academy
* Ice Cream, tea & coffee served at the riverside bar
*Goal posts ( bring your own football)
* Inflatable 'Pub' selling wines, spirits, lager, cider etc
*And finishing off with a fantastic 'FIREWORK DISPLAY. at 9.45pm.
( which will last no more than 15 minutes - 'warning for all pet owners !)
So please come along and join us , meet up with your friends and enjoy a fun filled day of entertainment !!!

EVENT UPDATE :
After the awful weather that bought the 'KINGS CORONATION EVENT' at Riverside Bandstand to a standstill , which couldn't be helped, as with all that was planned for the day, would have been a health and safety nightmare , and keeping everyone safe is one of our main priorities !!
BUT GOOD NEWS .....
We have managed to reschedule the event to coincide with the 'Kings Birthday' and 'Trooping the colour' celebrations ... yippee !
So PLEASE make a note of the new date -SATURDAY JUNE 17th !
And join us for a fun filled day of celebration at 'RIVERSIDE BANDSTAND- CHEPSTOW !!

UPDATE!!!
So sad to have to put this post out , but due to the weather conditions , we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the kings coronation event we had planned for riverside bandstand today from 2pm -10pm , as it would be a health & safety nightmare with all the things we had in place .
We are so really sorry to let everyone down !
The British weather strikes again !!

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support our Turkey/Syria fundraiser at Riverside Bandstand yesterday .
The weather could have been better but you still came out to support and we ( Chepstow Events Team) would like to thank you all !
Would like to send a huge thanks to all the musicians/Bands/Choirs who gave their time for free to support :

Just about to send timings through to all the musicians who have offered to give up there time to help raise funds by performing at this event,

TURKEY/SYRIA EARTHQUAKE DISASTER.
Please join us at The Riverside bandstand, Chepstow on Sunday April 16th, where a day of live music is planned !
All local bands performing are giving their time to help raise funds for the devastating Turkey/Syria earthquake disaster !
There will also be bouncy castles and games to entertain the children , with plenty of food & drinks , with each outlet donating to the much needed funds !
we start at 12pm with non stop music until 7pm and collection boxes will be at the ready !
