When I was younger, we would go and have brunch as a family once a month at a place called . We all loved their banoffee. I was thinking about it last Sunday, so I made one this week.

A banoffee pie is made up of layers of fresh bananas, a thick caramel, chantilly cream and chocolate.

Will you be my valentine? 😊 My husband and I don’t really do Valentine’s Day anymore, mostly because I was always working and get home very late. Plus, he doesn’t need a special day to buy me flowers, he randomly surprises me with a bouquet every now and again. I knooooow, what a sweetheart right? How about you? Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day? I what do you usually do? Gifts? Dinner? Chocolates and flowers? Let me live vicariously through you! 😊

I’ve been waiting for Valentine’s Day so I can share my raspberry panna cotta recipe. I even put a heart-shaped chocolate so it’s on theme!

How mesmerizing are meringues? White as snow and oh so fluffy… they are the base of many desserts. For a stable meringue that doesn’t weep, use caster sugar which is super fine. Also, beat the egg whites in medium speed and only stop when all the sugar has been dissolved.
