Melbourne, thank you! Saturday will go down as one of our fav gigs with The Thrillseekers! The intimate vibes really added something very special to the experience.

We've been waiting patiently to tour him since April 2020 We're absolutely stoked to finally have had him here to deliver a long-awaited epic 3-hour performance!

The energy was high from kick off with the local boys absolutely slaying their sets, to the night closing with Steve absolutely destroying the joint. Haven't seen a crowd react like this in a long time!

Big love to all who came down and supported the event. Until we dance again!💜💜

Daniel Jones (aka DJDJ) fell in love with all things electronic back in 1998 but Gatcrasher was what changed him from partying to buying records almost instantly. He bought his first set of decks in 2000 and went on a self taught journey of how to mix.

Daniel began playing warm up gigs in the Main room at Bass Station in 2001 and stayed loyal to Jason Midro and the Bass Station franchise playing for the next three years, opens and closes, main room and prog room. He was also a regular at Sundayz (Viper Room) and Thursday nights at Dream Nightclub. His mixing style is all about tight mixing and long fluid transitions. He has continued to amass a solid collection of trance on wax and even though had a break from DJing to pursue his career in the wine industry has always described himself as a connoisseur of fine wine and fine trance music.

Early influences include JOOF, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Sasha, Mauro Picotto, Tiesto, Armin, Ferry Corsten, The Thrillseekers and more and he has played gigs warming up for Christopher Lawrence and Leeroy from The Prodigy. Currently Daniel is listening to the likes of Signum, Cold Blue, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Stoneface & Terminal, Electrovoya, Airbase, M.I.K.E (aka Push), Factor B and Hans Zimmer – Plus the list could go on.

Q, Fav Thrillseekers track to get you in the feels?
A, Free Radical - Surreal. I believe he wrote this with younger brother who was about 14 at the time and then Steve remixed it under his alias, En-motion. This track has it all, uplifting, emotional and all around banger that really captures the sounds of trance from the year 2000!

Q, What are you most excited to see, a classic Thrillseekers set or HYDRA?
A, I’m really looking forward to the Hydra set. I’ve always loved how Steve has kept looking forward musically and this Hydra album is testament to that work. To see it come to fruition and now to have the chance to hear it live will be amazing!

Deon was a fresh eyed 16 year old when he went to his first trance event run by wild FM that got him into the scene. He remembers hearing non-other than The Thrillseekers track Synesthesia and was instantly hooked! He got his foot into the DJing world in 2015 with participation in the Your Shot dj initiative. After a move to Melbourne, he started Trance Gate Australia with friends, a small intimate trance event for DJs who are up and coming and their supporters. Some of Deon’s favourite producers at the present based on the amazing sound design. would be above and beyond, Genix, Fatum, Joseph Ray, Resident, Lane 8, Ben Bohmer and Nils Hoffman. An absolute legend of our scene, Soul T, who sits on the throne of the PHD empire that still fills venues 20 years on from their first party back in the very early 2000’s. Soul T recently unleased his Trance alias at the Melbourne Trance party Alchemy. Just B lets Brendan take us on a Trance musical journey which covers both classics and new Trance. A true professional whether he's behind the decks or wearing his promoters cap, we cannot wait for another instalment of Just B.
