👋🏼 Hey friends, long time no see!
I promise I’m still here! Wedding season is just around the corner and I thought I’d pop in and update everyone. This last year dealing with my cancer diagnosis and treatments have been pretty wild to say the least. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is to slow down, I’ve not only learned that but I’ve had no choice but to at times. My responses are a little longer and I appreciate the patience with my couples going into this 2024 season!
I have one more infusion and I’ll be done with three out of four treatments, the last treatment I will have to do for the next 10 years so I have a while until I’m completely done. In a way I feel like a test dummy recently, trying new medications and dealing with different dosages to make the side effects less painful but I am here.
I am happy to say I am cancer free but at the same time I will have to deal with this ick for the rest of my life, always running tests, blood work, scans and all the things. I have also learned that recovery is a long road and I’m used to bouncing back from anything pretty quickly so I’ve been very challenged lately.
I may be quiet on social media but I promise I have so much love for this little business of mine and am looking forward to the future I just may be doing less than what I have done, at least for the next few years. I appreciate everyone’s support and understanding but bare with me, I’m doing the best I can!
With all that being said I hope everyone has an amazing year and remember to be kind to others and most importantly to yourself!
